While this is not the actual picture of the cottage we must say the cottage is very picturesque.
Very well appointed and equipped. Every need is provided for, even a very welcome and full welcome basket.
The rear deck on the cottage was an ideal place to sit in the evenings with a drink. With the wonderful view and the stream rippling by it was heaven.
We would fully recommend this cottage.
Gina and Tim made us very welcome and immediately at home.
The cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our 5 nights in Co. Donegal! The owners met us as we arrived and were charming and friendly and had made sure the cottage was ready, comfortable, and had provided a welcome basket of essentials. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anybody who wants to explore Co. Donegal, or curl up with a book during a wet and chilly Irish fall or winter day.
I don't think I should be writing a glowing review on the property as it may give us less dates to choose from! "River House" is home from home. Furnished to a very high spec with beautiful views from every angle. The river running past the bedroom balcony is soothing and uplifting. The gardens are so well looked after - Tim told me he does it all himself (not according to Gina!). This cottage has everything you could wish for. Gina and Tim were very welcoming but that also shows in the atmosphere within the house, it just literally wraps itself around you. I hope you visit this cottage because you will not regret it. There was also an ample "welcome basket" which I wasn't expecting but was a lovely touch.
