About Mrs Fiona Sparkes

I was born in Selsey and have such fond memories of growing up on the beach opposite Beach House. When I had three sons of my own I wanted them to sample my own care free childhood of the 60's & 70's. Bought in 2006.

Mrs Fiona Sparkes purchased this house in 2006

Quality Accommodation

  • 5 of 5

We spent a wonderful weekend break at this property. We were a party of 13 aged from 5 months to 78 gathered for a birthday celebration and there was plenty of space for us all – we never felt on top of each other. Every room was comfortably furnished and the whole house was spotlessly clean. The Aga was of great intrigue to all of us but we did not have the courage to use it except as a warming plate which is useful when cooking for large parties. It is in a really quiet residential area with scarcely a soul or car to be seen. Being located so close to the sea was the highlight for us all with lovely walks along the front right from the door. Much time was spent by the slipway adjacent to the property running away from the breaking waves at high tide – the waves come right up onto the road! I cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a break away from it all. Oh and by the way excellent food at The Seal and from Den’s Fish Bar.

Perfect Family Celebration Venue!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful weekend here celebrating my husband's 50th birthday with 3 other families. The location is spectacular, the house excellently equipped and beautifully laid out and was everything we hoped it would be. Plenty of space for dining, relaxing and playing games and wave-watching from the kitchen table. Our children are already planning our next trip....!

Beautiful stunning house in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We had the most wonderful stay for a weekend with friends who get together once a year (four families) - we have been doing so for the last 9 years and can honestly say this is the best house we have ever stayed in! Perfect location, well equipped, beautifully decorated - we can't wait to go back next year! Kids aged between 5 and 10 - loads to do all weekend - perfect near the beach and holiday park with a wonderful fun fair! Lots of holiday houses in our experience are second homes and have people's leftovers - this was like something from a magazine - beautifully decorated with real care and attention, yet had a homely feel. Fiona, the owner was helpful from start to finish as was Sue the housekeeper. Can't fault it and as we were there for a weekend we didn't even scratch the surface with things to do in Selsey - would recommend to any age group - weekend of amazing memories.

Lovely spacious home by the sea

  • 5 of 5

12 people including 4 teenagers and 1 dog enjoyed a fabulous weekend celebrating a special Birthday. The house was perfect for large numbers being directly on the beach. Most things were catered for including a well equipped kitchen including Aga cooker. Lovely sea views, 10 minute walk to the small town centre, games room including pool table and table football. On the Saturday night we had a lovely meal at the local Crab & Lobster Gastopub in Sidlesham. Everybody loved the house. As it was winter the surrounding area was very quiet. The only slight negative was a very slow internet connection. Would highly recommend though.

My birthday bash

  • 5 of 5

We had the most fantastic weekend break at the beach house. The house has everything you need for a big crowd of people incredibly well equipped and so comfortable. The beach is just outside the backdoor so perfect for walks especially as we took our dog Ruby. The local shops are a stroll away and we had a great meal at the Seal who served all 13 of us a delicious meal and two little ones a great quality dinner. Big thank you to Fiona owner of the beach house and Sue who works so hard keeping the house spotless. We will definitely return.
