This well-appointed charming 2-bedroom cottage is typical of the region, is made of stones and has exposed beams. It comprises of lounge/kitchen/dinner with wood burner, wooden staircase to a small landing, one large double bedroom with ample storage space, one twin room, a bathroom with basin, shower and WC and a large secluded garden, front and back, in total 842 m2. Long gravelled driveway. Wooden stable entrance gate. The garden is fully enclosed and secured.
It is very well equipped and it has been furnished to a high standard to create a cosy home for a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay.
It boasts a quiet, peaceful location in the middle of the countryside, sandwiched between two very small villages, Saint-Connan and Senven-Léhart, and 12 kms from the nearest large town of Quintin and full amenities. The bigger town of Guingamp is 21 kms from the cottage and the city of Saint-Brieuc is situated 29 kms away.
The nearest long sandy beach of Binic is 35 minutes away by car.
For the keen anglers there are two large fishing lakes within 5 miles of the cottage including l'Etang Neuf outside the village of Saint-Connan which has a restaurant with a decked terrace overlooking the lake and a Resistance museum attached to it.

I am a French national (originally from Tours in the Loire Valley) who has been living and working in the UK for the last 35 years. My husband, Nick, is British and speaks very good French and we live on a permanent basis in Devon. Kerauffret Cottage is our holiday home in my home country.
I am passionate about interior design and have created a warm, cosy and colourful interior full of character. I wanted our French home to be a place where we long to return time after time.
French family heirlooms and precious souvenirs have been teamed with some brand-new pieces of furniture for a warm and true cottage style.

We purchased this house in January 2014. We fell in love with this old stone cottage as soon as we set eyes on it. It has been fully renovated by the previous owners a few years ago. We were after a little place full of charm and character and we were very lucky to find exactly what we were looking for! We love its rural and peacefuly location and we escape to it as often as we possibly can.
We have furnished this house to a high standard and it is a very comfortable home and definitively not just a holiday let! There is everything in it that you could possibly want and need to make your stay enjoyable.
The Côtes d'Armor is well-known for its superb landscapes along the shoreline. There is also a great deal to discover inland.
The famous "Côte de Granite Rose" (pink granite coast) near Perros-Guirec, as well as Cap-Frehel, Cap Erquy and Tregastel are amongst some of the most stunning places to discover.
It is the perfect home-from-home experience and the ultimate gateway place, only 1h15 minutes by car from Roscoff ferry port and 35 minutes from the pretty seaside town of Binic which boasts a beautiful long sandy beach.
The cottage enjoys a large front and rear garden of 842m2. Ample parking for 2 cars. It is full enclosed and secured.

The location is well placed for travellers who like to explore the region and experience the true French way of life, local villages, medieval towns, fishing lakes, history and culture. If you are looking to get off life's treadmill, and step into tranquil pace of life in comfort, in a picturesque location, then this is for you. Perfect place for ramblers/walkers, artists, photographers, fishermen, honeymooners and motorcyclists. Magnificent place to stay. We enjoyed our stay in the cottage very much. The place is very nice and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped with attention to every single detail.
The bedrooms are nice and cozy and suitable to a family with two children, small or teenagers.
The owner, Chrissie, is very cooperative and helpful. She helped us a lot during the process of booking the place, getting there and during the whole stay.
We warmly recommend this place and surely recommend it to our friends.

Beautiful setting and very well appointed cottage. Very clean on arrival. Great area to explore.
The house was exactly as described. Everything worked perfectly. Copious instructions/notes to cover almost any situation were provided, along with a welcome bottle of cider and Breton biscuits. The location is good if you want a mixture of coastal and inland places to visit. We were only there 3 nights-not long enough to enjoy all that is on offer.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the hire charge must be paid to secure the booking.
The balance of the hire must be paid 45 days before the arrival date. NOTE: we do NOT send reminders, so please make a calendar note of the due date.
Please note that a £100 breakage, theft & cleaning deposit will be charged at time of booking being made. This deposit will be refunded to you within 7 working days after departure provided the property has been left in an acceptable condition.
Changeover date is on a Saturday for stays of 7 days and over.
Arrival time: 3pm -
Departure time: 10am to allow for cleaning to take place prior to the next guests' arrival
