Well managed & cosy cottage

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived we found two cups ready for tea, the fireplace ready to be lit and everything clean and cosy. The rest of our stay we enjoyed the cottage and the surrounding villages.

Super family break

  • 4 of 5

The two young children were quick to make themselves at home, the younger one just needed a bit of help with the stairs. The cottage has everything we needed for a family break in Kent, and is very well located near a great little town in Tenterden as well as other parts of the area. Thanks for a great stay.

August Bank Holiday Weekend 2017

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Weavers Cottage over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The cottage was so cosy and clean and compact. Loved the decor - I think the owner has a natural flair for interior design. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped and fresh and clean. The sun shone every day so we were able to enjoy an hour or so in the cute little garden, when we weren't moving around the Kent countryside. Our stay added to the magic of the family wedding we attended in Benenden and we couldn't have found a more convenient base in which to stay.

A lovely quaint cottage

  • 5 of 5

We spent three nights in Weaver's Cottage. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. The setting was lovely with the cottages leading up to the church. The area was very good with a small Motor Museum nearby. Rye and Tenterden were not far, and we also made a visit to Chartwell about an hour away. We hope to be able to return some time in the future.

We would love to know the age of the cottage.

Owner's Response: Thank you for choosing my cottage to have a break.Very pleased you liked what it had to offer you. The house dates back to the late Georgian era circa 17 centaury for your interest. The whole row of cottages was consigned to a Weaver's cloth making business, hence the high ceiling downstairs, and steep staircase .The property is listed and needed to be protected. It realy was a hive of industry once. So pleased you may consider coming again too!
