We have four children (aged 10 - 20) who all love to spend their holidays splashing about and chillaxing by the pool and beach. Location

Cala D'or is a lovely resort - ideal for families and couples. It has a great town just minutes from the apartment and a stunning Marina. We chose to buy here because it is such a friendly place to visit and the beaches are clean, safe, tideless, and the waters are aqua blue.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Palma at 40 Miles Nearest Barpub : Calador bar at 0.25 Kilometres Nearest Golf : at 10 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Calador at 1 Kilometres

Special interest holidays:

There are some fantastic golf courses in Mallorca all within an hours drive time of the apartment. The closest being only 10 minute drive from the stunning 18 hole course Vall D'or.

Coast/Beach:

There are many stunning beaches to choose from in Cala D'or, spreading out over a long stretch of Mallorca's coastline, situated in small coves (also known as calas) - Cala d'Or, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Ferrera, Cala Serena & Cala Gran.

Travel:

The apartment is 50 minutes away from Palma Airport and is very easy to get to and from. You can either hire your own car or book one of the hotel coaches (this take a little longer). A taxi will cost about 50 Euros one way. Once you are in Cal D'or everything is really in walking distance so you don't need to have a car if you dont want to. Local taxi's are cheap and there are always available or if you are feeling adventurous you can hire a scooter!

Distances:

The main village is no more than an 10 minute walk and the Stunning Marina is slightly closer. A must visit is the beautiful Porto Petro (10 min drive out) nestling in a corner of an inlet that hosts the Starfish glass bottom boat and a few lovely typical spanish restaurants all serving home made paella and tapas.

Further Details:

The local shops have plenty to see and buy, lots of lovely jewelry, designer clothes, beachwear and several spanish leather shoe shops. The village will spoil you for choice when it comes to eating, most offering lovely freshly cooked spanish cuisine made from locally grown produce. It has two supermarkets in the town and the bigger Eroski just on the edge of town offering every essential you need including nappies, Drinks, washing powder, meat, veg and electronics. There are also several banks and two chemists that are well stocked with perfume, cosmetics and a pharmacy.

25% Non refundable deposits is required upon confirmation. Final payments are required 90 days before departure. Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Balance required 8 weeks before arrival booking date. A refundable £250 keys/breakages deposit is required with the final payment. Cancellation 4 to 8 weeks before arrival date 50% refund. There is no refund if you cancel within 4 weeks of the arrival date.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are usually on a Saturday. Please enquire if you need flexibility. We offer a short rental - minimum 3 days. Arrival 2pm - departures 11am.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. The rates are either for a 4 or 7 night stay for a maximum of 4 people.

  • Notes on accommodation: Please note there is a surcharge to hire Cots and high chairs. We also have to hire Baby baths, Bouncers, Push chairs, bed guards, gates, walkers and pop up tents. Welcome packs are available - (includes Milk, bread, Butter, Jam, Coffee, Tea and sugar) - 20 Euros Outside: Lovely mediterranean gardens surrounded by clean and beautifully kept pathways. There are sun beds available around each of the pools (3 in total) and normally a few are always free . There are bases for your own umbrellas. Utility Room: Iron and Ironing Board, Washing Machine Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Fresh Bed linen and bath towels are included. Beach towels are NOT included. The property will be spotlessly cleaned for your comfort on arrival. Other: Top of building is a private roof terrace. Fantastic views during the day and perfect for stargazing at night.
