Church Farm is home to Kate, Will, Libby ( our 10 year old daughter ) and our 2 dogs, Hattie ( Jack Russell Terrier ) and Teasel ( Shnautzer ). Although no longer a working farm it is a busy and friendly place with something interesting going on wether its an exhibition or workshop in our gallery in the barn, or a wonderful work of art being delivered to Kate's paper conservation studio housed in some of the converted farm buildings.
Kate Bicknell purchased this cottage in 2000
Kate and Will fell in love with Church Farm 10 years ago after deciding it was the perfect place to raise a family and run their businesses. The property is situated in the heart of the idyllic village of Kington Langley so has a rural feel but is still with in very easy access of main line railway station ( Chippenham 5 minutes ) Bristol Airport ( 45 minutes ) or the motor way - Junction 17 on the M4- 5 minutes). People are helpful and friendly, the landscape is beautiful and varied and though offering a huge variety of culture, activities and amenities still maintains generally more relaxed way of life than it does closer to London, and Oxfordshire, where we moved from. and life Wiltshire is

"We had a lovely week using the cottage as a base for visiting many of Wiltshire's great attractions. The owners (Kate and Will) were very welcoming and close by to provide help if required. The cottage was attractively furnished with many individual and characterful pieces. The facilities were great and we didn't want for anything. There is a small private seating area outside and provides access to a lovely private meadow and garden. We would certainly return in the future".
"Church Farm Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The cottage itself was comfortable, spacious, homely as well as being independent and very stylish. The owners made us feel very welcome. Kington Langley itself is a very pretty village ideal for evening walks and a great base to explore the area with so many attractions and amenities close by. We had a great stay and can not recommend it highly enough".
"We stayed at Church Farm cottage for a week before our wedding in May. The cottage is stunning, with lots of space, light, and a beautiful private little garden, overlooking the rest of the garden and fields. Will and Kate could not be more welcoming and helpful - and really want you to feel like it's a home away from home, right down to the milk that's ready in the fridge when you get there. We will definitely be back!"
