Cottage in Heacham, Hunstanton, North Norfolk, England - Very Quiet Location In The Centre Of The Village Of Heacham An Easy Mile Walk To The Beaches

This lovely Victorian Cottage is set up as home for our guests to enjoy. It has full central heating and is very warm and comfortable. It is fully equipped with high quality furniture and fittings. There is WiFi for our guests. The cottage was completely renovated in 2013 and is used the whole year round. Heacham is a lovely place to visit any time of the year and the owners use it as their second home throughout the year.

We are a family who love Norfolk. We have been visiting Norfolk for many years and have family here.

The cottage allows us to spend time away from London with our family. Our grandchildren really love it here. There is so much for the todo.

Why Mary Paton chose Kings Lynn & West Norfolk

We bought this Victorian Cottage as a home to use in the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. We spend as much time up here as we can but like to share it with others when we are not there.

As soon as we arrive we are relaxed. We can walk or cycle to most places as it is flat and quiet. Areas further away such as Blakeney and Wells are easily accessible by car.

It is great to walk to the local shops and pubs.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage is down a very quiet lane.

The cottage is set up as a home which we like to share with guests who will love it as much as we do.

There is a lovely walled garden with seating and BBQ.

A garage is available to store bikes or a car.parking is off road and safe.

Outside: The cottage has a lovely walled garden that is private and secure. There is a BBQ and wooden table and chairs. There is also a range of garden furniture in the garage. The garden has sun all day. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen is included. Guests are asked to bring their own towels. Other: The cottage has a separate dining room with an oak table which seats 6 comfortably. There is a high chair available on request. There is also a bed for our 'doggie' guests!

Lovely cottage in quite area, very accessible to local shops and a nice walk to the North Beach, lovely break had by my wife and I and 16 month old, who especially like the garden.

Special interest holidays:

The garage can be used to store bikes and beach equipment. There is secure parking. There are also bikes available for our guests to use.

The area is dog friendly with numerous lovely walks. Dogs are allowed on most of the beaches all year round.


1 mile from both of the Heacham Beaches (North & South). The walk is easy and takes around 15 to 20 minutes.

3 miles from Hunstanton and Snettisham beach. There are numerous other beaches all within an easy driving distance.

The RSPB bird watching reserve at Snettisham is 5 miles away.


The Cottage is 16 miles from Kings Lynn, which is the nearest railway station. A car is recommended, although the area is served by frequent buses and the bus stops are near the cottage.

Walking and cycling are very easy here.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is usually Saturday. Short lets can be any day depending on bookings. Please contact owner to discuss specific short let requirements.

Notes on prices:
A 30% non refundable deposit is required on booking. Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to the holiday. We ask for a £50 refundable deposit for dogs, in case of damage or extra cleaning.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
