About the Owner

We live just to the south of Manchester with 2 children in late teen/early 20's. We have wanted to own a property at La Manga Club for many years and are delighted that this is now possible. We are planning to make good use of this and even more so when we are both retired in a few years time.

My wife loves to make a place homely so we hope that our guests will feel comfortable and relaxed when using the apartment. The management company we use are based at La Manga Club and they will ensure that the property is kept in tip top condition. They will also look after our guests so they can enjoy the holiday

Great apartment in great location

Just returned from 2 fab weeks at La Manga and this great apartment in a the best location. This is our 4th time at La Manga and out 1st at Los Olivois and it was perfect! The apartment is spacious and airy with everything you need on hand. Right by the pool so handy with kids as it's not far to go to get the forgotten stuff that they desperately need then and there! Also it's so close to the tennis and resort centre so could walk everywhere. Well recommended and thanks to Nick for letting is enjoy it!

Excellent apartment with fantastic location

We had a fantastic stay in La Manga Resort primarily there to play tennis and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The apartment is lovely, clean, homely and had everything we needed to ensure our stay was perfect. Nick, the owner, was really helpful, providing all the information we required ahead of our stay, even down to recommending various golf courses to play outside the resort. Will definitely be back.

Luxurious and Spacious Apartment

Attractively furnished and very spacious apartment in prettily landscaped grounds in the centre of the La Manga Club. We appreciated the air conditioning, wifi and satellite TV channels. The only thing we missed was a DVD player. The apartment's outdoor terrace was wonderful, equipped with a dining table and chairs and comfortable loungers, with stunning views across the club towards the sea. All of the club's amenities are within easy walking distance and Los Olivos community is one of the few to offer a choice of two outdoor pools and one indoor pool with a jacuzzi for residents to use. Our favourite restaurant is La Finca - pricey but lovely for a treat. The owner, Nick, couldn't have been more helpful and we would heartily recommend this property.

We booked direct with Nick and have been thoroughly impressed since our first contact. The Apartment they have is lovely and really does have that home feel to it, unlike the bare and depressing Rental Apartments that others provide. The Apartment is located in Los Olivos, and this has a real Community feel to it with everyone saying hello and letting on. The layout itself within the Apartment is excellent, with plenty of space both inside and out. There is everything you need within the Apartment and when we arrived it was immaculate, fresh towels, and clean linen and bedding - absolutely perfect, and not forgetting the Terrace is massive. Coupled with that the views are simply stunning and it is so relaxing, so much so we have booked to go again in September. Nick has been a pleasure to deal and liaise with and I would whole heartedly recommend the Apartment to anyone. Food and Dining wise, there are various places to eat and drink, we particularly enjoyed Si Restaurant, Dantes, La Barra, The Mirabell, and there is also a fantastically stocked and reasonably priced Supermarket on site no more than 5 minutes walk away. Whatever your reason for booking, rest assured you will not be disappointed.

Probably the best location in La Manga Club for access to the wide variety of sports facilities, restaurants, bars and shops. Los Olivos is a neat community. The apartment is ground floor and first line so commands outstanding views out towards the Mar Menor and La Manga strip. Easy and convenient access to the larger of the 2 outdoor communal pools. Very popular property for families with young children. Spacious, homely and with all modern equipment.

Travel:

Murcia(San Javier) airport is closest to La Manga Club. Approx 25 minute drive to resort. San Javier is a small airport with limited facilities. It is however serviced by some cheap flight airlines from a number of UK airports.

Alicante airport is 1 hour 15 minutes drive from La Manga Club. This is a large international airport serviced by multiple airlines from the UK and Europe.

La Manga Club is a large resort. If guests plan to travel the areas outside the resort car hire is recommended.

Further Details:

The six square miles that forms the resort of la Manga Club is in a part of the coastline called The Costa Calida. This translates to ‘warm coast’ and is the definition of an area which enjoys in excess of 300 days a year of sunshine and blue skies.

Surrounding the waters of the Mar Menor are a variety of typically Spanish villages such as Los Alcazares, Los Nietos, Mar de Crystal and San Pedro del Pinatar, which have their own individual character. Further south along the coastline is the delightful promontory of Cabo de Palos, a delightful fishing village with a small harbour and an abundance of wonderful fish restaurants. with its feature lighthouse on the peninsula dominating the headland. The village is typically Spanish with low level buildings and a selection of wonderful restaurants where the local fish can be sampled. A walk alongside the marina during a balmy evening is delightful and you can observe the local fishermen mending their nets and planning their next catch.

This headland leads on to the well known La Manga Strip, a Lava drip from millions of years ago which has formed 14 miles of holiday facilities, wonderful beaches, some facing the Mar Menor Lagoon and to the other side the Mediterranean. Water sports of all kinds can be found here. An abundance of restaurants are visible along the La Manga strip catering for all varieties of culinary preferences. Tomas Mastre harbour at Kilometer 11 houses a wonderful array of motor and sailing vessels and is a delight to visit.

Murcia is approximately 45 minutes drive from La Manga Club. This is a lively University City with a magnificent Cathedral and several fine museums. Murcia is sophisticated and has an abundance of shops of all styles.Cartagena is one of the most ancient cities in the western Mediterranean, founded in 221BC by the Carthaginians, just a twenty minute drive from La Manga Club.

La Manga Club has three championship golf courses, twenty eight tennis courts and a marvelous Par 47 pitch and putt facility. It also has a wonderful football facility .There is a huge variety of restaurants and bars and we have our own supermarket, chemist and Doctors surgery. The La Manga Club Spa offers a state of the art gymnasium, dedicated teaching studio, saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, private treatment rooms and a twenty five metre indoor heated swimming pool. The Los Olivos community where the apartment is located is central to all of these facilities, 5 minutes from the South course and immediately opposite the Tennis Centre. The community also has 2 outdoor pools and one indoor pool with fitness gym.
