Bigger than it looks!

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights in this lovely peaceful cottage. It is a well kept, comfortable and well equipped cottage, which, like the Tardis, is bigger on the inside. Sally met us on arrival and was very friendly and explained everything to us. We had a lovely weekend and we are definitely hoping to stay there again and have already recommended it to family and friends.

We would recommend Wilkes Cottage to anyone who wants a quiet escape from everyday life. We spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Wyken Hall nearby which we would also recommend.

Fabulous homely cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 2 nights (wish it had been longer!) in Sally's beautiful little cottage. Everything and more you could wish for to make this a home from home stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Sally was more than accommodating with our travel arrangements - a perfect hostess! Dog friendly cottage - nice safe, secure garden! We hope to return again some day.

Lovely secret hideaway

  • 5 of 5

What a fabulous cottage - lots of character and quirky details and lovely garden. The cottage has a much-loved feel about it and I would absolutely recommend it. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous and the carved angels in the vaulting of the little church opposite the cottage are worth the visit on their own.
