Apartment in Playa Golf II, Orihuela Coast, Costa Blanca, Spain - Quiet Residential Location, Short Drive to Beaches and Golf Courses

This deluxe two bedroom air conditioned apartment is close to numerous golf courses (including Las Ramblas, Campoamar and Villamartin), shops, bars, restaurants and blue flag beaches. It is situated in a quiet, safe and well maintained residential/holiday estate and has a shared residents' private gated pool with landscaped gardens and a children's pool. The apartment is only 45 minutes from Alicante airport and 20 minutes from Murcia airport. It is an easy walk to the local supermarket, restaurants, cafes and bars and a short drive to more shopping and nightlife. There is a bus stop nearby and taxis are readily available. A safe children's play area is close to the apartment. A number of stunning beaches are within 10 minutes drive of the apartment. Our management agents are based locally to help with any queries/help or advice needed.

About Paula Hallam

Until recently, I was living and working in Glasgow and spent holidays in Spain with friends as I loved the beaches and other amenities near the apartment, it's a really lovely part of the country. Wanting to spread my wings a little further, I've taken a break from work to travel in Asia and Africa where I am also volunteering at various animal sanctuaries.

I bought this apartment because of its proximity to the fabulous beaches of the Orihuela coast and the great golf courses. It's also really close to lots of lovely towns and hiking trails.

What makes this apartment unique

Proximity to huge range of shops, bars, restaurants, great beaches and golf courses. A lovely private shared residents' pool. There's also a great local taxi service for those times when you don't want to drive.

The balcony is great for breakfast and early evening drinks.

Notes on accommodation: This lovely apartment offers everything you should need to make your stay happy and comfortable in an area of Spain that is perfect for golfers and beach lovers alike. Family friendly and very close to all amenities. Outside: The apartment has a large balcony with table, chairs and umbrella provided as well as a clothes horse. Utility Room: Wash basin and storage facilities. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided. The apartment is cleaned on arrival and departure for no extra charge. Mid-stay cleaning and change of bedding and towels can be arranged at a charge payable locally through our management agents. Other: The large south facing balcony has table, chairs and umbrella and is the perfect place for al-fresco dining and evening drinks.

Lovely unspoilt area gorgeous beaches and decent shopping

Lovely clean property, very homely only let down by noisy neighbours above but no fault of the landlord or letting agency.

Resolved once a word was had.

Lovely sunny apartment

My husband, two friends and I had a lovely week's break here from 21-28 October 2016. It was a very easy journey from Murcia airport in a hired car, with great directions. The agent met us in a nearby car park and settled us in to the apartment. It has two good size bedrooms (one double, two single beds) with plenty of wardrobe space, a great size bathroom, a kitchen that has everything you could need, sitting/dining room, TV, good wifi access and a lovely balcony with table and chairs in a quiet area. The pool is next door, only a short walk round the corner. There is an Aldi store within walking distance (with delicious croissants!) and lots of restaurants that we walked to in the evening - we liked The Street, Los Cucolis, The Soul Kitchen, Le Bassus. Le Zenia Boulevard shopping centre is nearby with restaurants and lots of shops and we found it very easy to get to the main roads for visits to Cartagena, Alicante and the beach at Torrevieja. An added bonus was that we had fantastic hot and sunny weather.

We would use it again four stars

My wife's nieces were very happy with the apartment, is was very clean and there were no problems. Just one thought, the wifi system wasn't good and they couldn't access the web or emails until they got to my house.

Almansa (Albacete) España

very nice and calm apartment,

The apartment was very clean, fresh and very comfortable. It's located in a quiet area and it's only 7 minutes by car to the nearest beach and the ALDI supermarket is very close. There's also a very good restaurant very appropriated to go with your children nearby. It has all the necessary to make your stay comfortable.

The swimming pool was a bit far to go with baby but it was very nice also.

The owner is fantastic, Paula thanks a lot for everything were very kind with us.

A number of stunning sandy blue flag beaches are only a few minutes' drive away. The closest beaches include La Zenia (medium sized clean beach with sun beds and umbrellas available to hire and watersports in the summer), Cabo Roig (great beach with good beach bar) and Cala Capitan (fantastic sandy bay with stunning vistas and warm shallow water, sun beds and umbrellas available to hire and beach bar)


Car hire is recommended to make the most of the nearby amenities.

Murcia airport - 20 minutes drive

Alicante airport - 45 minutes drive

Please note that if you arrive before 9am or after 9pm a 25 euro fee is payable to our management company locally.

For those that do not wish to hire a car, transport from and to the airport can be arranged through our local management company.


All amenities (shops, restaurants, supermarket, internet café) are within a 5-10 minute walk.

Torrevieja is the nearest major town (15 mins drive). There are 3 water parks nearby and the Terra Mitica theme park is approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes drive. The towns of San Miguel and Elche are 10 and 20 minutes drive respectively.

Further Details:

The area benefits from extensive hiking trails, two marinas, sea fishing, horse riding, go karting, quad biking and extensive water sports facilities. The apartment is close to a large selection of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and local markets.
