Apartment in Playa Golf II, Orihuela Coast, Costa Blanca, Spain - Quiet Residential Location, Short Drive to Beaches and Golf Courses

This deluxe two bedroom air conditioned apartment is close to numerous golf courses (including Las Ramblas, Campoamar and Villamartin), shops, bars, restaurants and blue flag beaches. It is situated in a quiet, safe and well maintained residential/holiday estate and has a shared residents' private gated pool with landscaped gardens and a children's pool. The apartment is only 45 minutes from Alicante airport and 20 minutes from Murcia airport. It is an easy walk to the local supermarket, restaurants, cafes and bars and a short drive to more shopping and nightlife. There is a bus stop nearby and taxis are readily available. A safe children's play area is close to the apartment. A number of stunning beaches are within 10 minutes drive of the apartment. Our management agents are based locally to help with any queries/help or advice needed.

About the Owner

Until recently, I was living and working in Glasgow and spent holidays in Spain with friends as I loved the beaches and other amenities near the apartment, it's a really lovely part of the country. Wanting to spread my wings a little further, I've taken a break from work to travel in Asia and Africa where I am also volunteering at various animal sanctuaries.

very nice and calm apartment,

The apartment was very clean, fresh and very comfortable. It's located in a quiet area and it's only 7 minutes by car to the nearest beach and the ALDI supermarket is very close. There's also a very good restaurant very appropriated to go with your children nearby. It has all the necessary to make your stay comfortable.

The swimming pool was a bit far to go with baby but it was very nice also.

The owner is fantastic, Paula thanks a lot for everything were very kind with us.

We would book again.

The apartment was exactly as promised; good spec and central location. (No bugs of any sort!).

Five minutes drive to CalaCapatain/Roug/La Zenia-all blue flag beaches. Same to supermarkets.

Pool facilities well maintained with excellent loungers about 40 meters away max.

Conclusion is that we would book again any time.

Clean and very safe. Nice quiet area. Beds were very comfortable.

We were only in the apartment for 8 nights. The area was very nice, quiet and safe however it was a little removed from everywhere. One would need a car. The pool area was fantastic large and spacious. The small amount of bars and restaurants were 10 mins walk away which was not too bad however you would not visit them every night.

Over all they stay was geat andwe met with some lovely people. Debbie from the rental company was very nice and it was lovely to meet another Irish person!

Well equipped apartment with a great sunny balcony.

This is my second visit to this apartment. The apartment is well maintained and well equipped in a calm but convenient area. The balcony has a very sunny aspect and is spacious.The pool area has been upgraded since my last visit and is also well maintained. The apartment itself has a well equipped kitchen and 2 spacious bedrooms. There are local shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk and the locals are a friendly bunch.

I plan to revisit as I had a lovely, relaxing break.

Fantastic spacious apartment, close to beach and restaurants.

Had an amazing 10 nights stay, it was a fantastic home away from home. Large spacious bed rooms. Weather was fantastic, spent a few evenings sitting on the balcony. Very Quiet surroundings. Spent a few days by the pool, which was very peaceful and clean. Very close to local beaches. Ideal locatiocation.

Had a fantastic time and can't wait to head back. (Laura & Mitch April 2016 stay)

I bought this apartment because of its proximity to the fabulous beaches of the Orihuela coast and the great golf courses. It's also really close to lots of lovely towns and hiking trails.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended


A number of stunning sandy blue flag beaches are only a few minutes' drive away. The closest beaches include La Zenia (medium sized clean beach with sun beds and umbrellas available to hire and watersports in the summer), Cabo Roig (great beach with good beach bar) and Cala Capitan (fantastic sandy bay with stunning vistas and warm shallow water, sun beds and umbrellas available to hire and beach bar)


Car hire is recommended to make the most of the nearby amenities.

Murcia airport - 20 minutes drive

Alicante airport - 45 minutes drive

Please note that if you arrive before 9am or after 9pm a 25 euro fee is payable to our management company locally.

For those that do not wish to hire a car, transport from and to the airport can be arranged through our local management company.


All amenities (shops, restaurants, supermarket, internet café) are within a 5-10 minute walk.

Torrevieja is the nearest major town (15 mins drive). There are 3 water parks nearby and the Terra Mitica theme park is approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes drive. The towns of San Miguel and Elche are 10 and 20 minutes drive respectively.

Further Details:

The area benefits from extensive hiking trails, two marinas, sea fishing, horse riding, go karting, quad biking and extensive water sports facilities. The apartment is close to a large selection of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and local markets.
