Villa Amarillo is located in El Pinar de Campoverde. It is brand new (June 2013) and has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and private pool. It offers spacious living accommodation plus a private garden and pool area. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Located on the South East coast of Spain, just 15 minutes from Murcia San Javier airport, an hour from Alicante airport and a ten minute drive from some of the region’s best Blue Flag beaches, Pinar de Campoverde is considered by many to be one of the Costa Blanca’s hidden gems. The village is divided into two areas; old Campoverde and new Campoverde and both parts boast a fantastic array of local facilities including a great selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, newsagents, banks, chemists, doctor’s surgery, a hair salon and even a vets.

Hi, my name is Stuart and I bought the villa for my family to enjoy many sun and fun filled holidays!

We love the area and the weather is tremendous. We have spent many a happy day in the villa and some fun evenings in the local restaurants.

Why Stuart Graham chose Pinar de Campoverde

I bought the villa as I was looking for a peaceful and safe area for my family to holiday. Pinar de Campoverde is a good mix of British, Spanish, German, etc holiday-makers. The area is tranquil but is also a short distance (15 mins walk) from lots of nice restaurants and a few bars so that it is easy to have some good family entertainment in the evenings. It also has a few shops that should provide everything that you need, but the larger town of Pilar de la Horadada is a short car ride away.

Outside: The villa is surrounded by garden on all sides, and there are several areas which can be used for relaxing and tanning. The swimming pool is approx 3m by 6m in area. The pool has a shallow end (approx 1m deep) and a deep end (approx 2.5m deep). The property has lockable gates to the driveway and also to the pathway to the house. There is also a security entry system to the property. There are loungers on the roof terrace and also at the pool. Large table and chairs are on the roof terrace and also on the patio at the side of the villa. A box of pool and beach toys is located next to the pool. Utility Room: Utility room accessed from outside containing laundry sink and washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. There is a cleaning charge of £80 added to every booking regardless of length of stay. If you would like additional cleaning during your stay this can be arranged at additional cost. Other: Dining room adjacent to lounge with large oak dining table. 3 portable air conditioning units servicing the villa. There is a large roof terrace accessible via both the hallway at the top of the stairs and also from the master bedroom

Perfect family getaway!

The villa was located in a lovely quiet urbanisation with a great local Spanish bar opposite - cheap drinks, fresh bread and croissants daily and delicious tapas.

The villa was spacious and clean. It was the ideal base for our family holiday although a car is essential to get to nearby restaurants and bars.

We loved the outside space and very well maintained pool - great job Damon.

The villa was fully equipped with all the essentials needed to make the place feel like home.

We would definitely recommend this villa.

Thanks Stuart for all the advice prior to and during the visit - we had an amazing time.

We love this area of Spain

Whilst the villa was a good size the double bed was rather uncomfortable and there was insufficient bedding. The building took a long time to heat up inside. Villa itself was in good condition. Shower head in master bedroom could be renewed and kitchen utensils are showing their age. Lack of large baking dishes. One of the single beds kept breaking. Good washing machine. Had to chase the sun around the property so lots of chair hopping. Nice pool but as it was unheated only my husband was brace enough to try a quick dip

Easily accessible, clean, spacious

We have family in Pinar however there were more of us than could stay with them so we needed accommodation close by. The villa was ideal. Only two minutes walk away from the family. It is an easy walk up through to the top of the village to the restaurants and bars and another ten or so minutes from there to a few bars on the way into town. Through the gate you have a small pool to the left and the car port to the right. On entering the villa there is the lounge, dining area and kitchen with two of the bedrooms (one double and a twin) and the downstairs bathroom. Upstairs you have another double en suite bedroom which leads to the upstairs balcony. There is a washroom to the side of the villa.

Kitchen is well stocked with utensils however should to not want to cook there is a cafe directly opposite who serve fantastic food.

I loved this place and would be checking availability for any future trips to visit the family and will certainly be advising anyone to check this place out. Thanks for a great experience of your villa

Great place to just chill.

Lovely big villa in a very peaceful location. Everything you need provided in the villa with great pool. Would recommend a car as only a few places within walking distance. Derek the villa manager was lovely very helpful . Cafe/bar over the road was handy, and first thoughts was its going to be noisy but it was always shut before midnight and no disturbance at all. Nice Spanish restaurant by the castle which we used a few times. Ten minute drive to beaches. Hope to return one day soon

Spot on

The property is lovely, has everything you need.

Inside is very spacious, bedrooms are more than adequate he outside area was great, and the terrace out from the upstairs bedroom is a nice treat also.

I fully intend to return as it is the perfect place and setting for a relaxing long weekend away.

The village has all facilities, shops, bars, restaurants etc. There's even a nice little Spanish cafe directly opposite the front door.

There are several beach areas within close drive to the villa, the closest being Torre de la Horradada which is approximately 10-15 minutes drive.


The nearest airport is Murcia (MJV) which is approximately 15 minutes drive.

The next nearest airport is Alicante (ALI) which is approximately 50 minutes drive.

Local Area: Pinar de Campoverde is an urbanization situated in the mountain region of the Valencian Community, her principle character being the pines and typical Mediterranean vegetation of the area making it an ideal place to enjoy the tranquillity. There are shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars within short walking distance.

Pilar de la Horadada and its beaches are a few minutes drive away should you want something more lively.

The beautiful beaches line the coast for 4 kms from Playa de las Mil Palmeras to Playa del Mojon. You can even walk the 890 meters of the Matitime Walk which runs from Playa del Puerto to Las Villas.

Nearby places of Interest:

The harbour town of Torrevieja has a good selection of shops. restaurants, bars and discos. The Friday market is the largest outdoor market in Southern Spain and is located on the sea front. There is an Aqua Park and a fairground as well as go-carting, ten pin bowling, squash, tennis, laser quest and many other attractions.

If you want to see the countryside, venture inland past the orange and lemon groves to the city of Elche, famous for its thousands of palm trees and safari park. You can also buy shoes direct from the factory shops.

Orihuela is a paradise for those with an interest in historic architecture, with the main attraction being the Cathedral and Cloisters.

Villa Martin Plaza is very pretty with about 20 bars and restaurants arranges round the square.

Other places of interest include Mar Menor with its mud baths and shallow warm water, Fortuna with its Roman site and inland hot springs and Santa Pola with its castle.

Benidorm and the Terra Mitica Theme Park are fantastic family days out. This caters for all tastes with thrilling rides, beautiful gardens and the recreation of ancient lands.

Lots of first class golf courses within easy driving distance (closest is less than a mile). La romero being the closest.
