About Clive and Angela Nixon

We live about 100 yards up the road on a sheep farm with our 18 year old Son. Bevan House is a delightful detached property with it's own hot tub, which is clean and ready to use all year. The house can sleep up to 7 guests in 3 bedrooms with a family bathroom upstairs and a second toilet downstairs.

We love Bevan House because it is a lovely warm house with stunning views across the Edw Valley. It is so peaceful and quiet although you are still able to walk to the local pub for an evening meal if you don't want to cook yourself.

Clive and Angela Nixon purchased this house in 2010

Guestbook comments from the owner

Loved the House, very clean and the Hot Tub was amazing.

Hot Tub was so clean and relaxing - perfect holiday.

The views from the windows are fantastic and the house is so peaceful and warm - we had a lovely few days away. Most relaxing.

Bevan house is the nicest house we have ever stayed in and the Hot Tub was out of this world. Red Kites even fly above us whilst we were relaxing.

The property was fairly clean and had all the necessary mode cons you would expect.

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely short break at this property. We really enjoyed our stay there as we had a lot of peace and quite as the property is quite isolated. This allowed us to have lots of rest. We also enjoyed our short bike rides and the barbeque. A relaxing afternoon in the hot tub was just the icing on the cake. We found Angela and Clive the property owners to be very approachable and helpful, as they so willingly came to our rescue with the barbeque when we couldn't get the fire going. We would recommend this place to anyone with kids or even without.

Love this place and will come back again. Hot tub, Wi-fi (for those who need contact with the outside world) seclusion, a perfect get away from the rat race place! The nearby pub does lovely food and it’s all at a good price.

Fantastic cottage in the perfect location

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely little gem. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay - there was even milk, tea, coffee and bread! The views were far reaching and there was a pub just down the road. There were plenty of toys and dvds for the kids and a cracking hot tub which had been cleaned prior to us getting there. Would recommend and Angela gave us a quick thorough, non intrusive tour of the place before leaving us to it. If you’re out this way then I would give this place a look up. Thank you guys! We’d come again!
