Three storey, three bedroomed townhouse set on the shores of the crystal clear Caribbean Sea . With luxurious and functional living space and furnished to an extremely high standard. Many excellent restaurants can be found within a ten minute drive of the house. It is a five minute drive to Jolly Harbour and this offers amenities such as a well stocked supermarket, pharmacy, banking facilities and restaurants and bars. The house has three bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms and walk in wardrobes and the master bedroom has a luxury bath. There is modern, efficient and quiet air conditioning throughout the property.

Our vacation was so wonderful we literally forgot to come home!

I woke up Tuesday morning and went to check the time of our flights, only to discover that we were scheduled to leave the day before. What a shock and a brief moment of panic. Luckily we were able to get the last two flights out on Tuesday. And believe it or not I would not have given up our Monday extension. We spent the day sailing around Antigua--well worth it!

Our "home away from from home" was beautiful. The condo was situated on top of a jetty that bordered the sea. When viewing from the windows you felt like you were on a ship at sea. Floating on a raft beyond the jetties gave one the feeling that you were on your own island. The condo was situated on two of the nicest beaches on the island, Darkwood and Fryer. It was easy to traverse the jetty to access Darkwood, which was like having your own private beach. After a day of sunning and swimming we would come back to our own plunge pool for reading and libations. Restaurants and a grocery store were all close by, but having a car was helpful.

The condo was very well appointed. Plenty of towels, including beach towels, high quality linens, and a well stocked kitchen--including some refreshments in the refrigerator. Our hosts thought of everything. The support staff for the condo were both friendly and extremely accommodating. No request was too much for them to handle.

We spent some time touring the island and it was well worth it. Although be warned, the roads are full of pot holes and the road signage scarce. But the policemen are helpful (go over the next two speed humps and turn left at the church) and got us on our way!

The Pictures Don't Lie!

Nothing but positive to say about the unit and location. Gill was great with providing helpful info in advance and the location was exactly as advertised between two great beaches, and within easy reach of several more to the north and south. Would book here again in a heartbeat.

Breathtaking views

We just returned from our vacation and we cannot stop talking about how incredible it was. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and the setting is magnificent. Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children) had ample space. Each morning, we would sip coffee outside while sitting under the awning and take in the amazing water view. After a day at the beach, it was great to have the plunge pool- a big hit with the kids! In the evening, we enjoyed the sunsets. We rented a car so we could explore local beaches (Ffreyes and Valley Church were our favorites) but Darkwood is in walking distance and is also a beautiful beach. The local supermarket is a quick drive and there are several good restaurants in the vicinity of the villa. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans/pots and the grill was also nice to have. All of the staff (security, maintenance, cleaning) were warm and helpful. We are so happy we stayed at this villa and definitely hope to return!

Best Decision We Made!

When we decided to plan a trip to Antigua we were torn between staying in a resort or villa. Online we were impressed with Tamarind Hills and Gill's villa but were not prepared how truly happy we would be during our stay.

To begin, the property is stuated between two amazing beaches. There are restaurants and An Epicurean grocery store within a 3-5 minute drive.

We enjoyed every moment! Or kids 10 and 4 loved the villa. They had their own rooms, LOVED the private pool and easy access to the ocean.

Tamarind Hills has created such a beautiful landscape and each peppery is stunning. We would highly recommend renting a car to explore! We found the kitchen to be so easy to use and convenient to watch the kids in the pool (with the best view ever).

Gill was so helpful with all of our questions and th local property management team was beyond helpful. We would highly recommend this property and can guarantee you will LOVE it!

Gorgeous 3 bedroom Town Home in Antigua

This was our first trip to Antigua and we loved it! This town home is beautiful and the views are magnificent. It is immaculate and they arranged for some one to come in and clean it from top to bottom twice in the week we were there. There is 24 hour security and there are security guards to let you in and out of the gate 24 hours a day. There are 2 nice beaches within 2 minutes driving distance or if you are brave enough to walk along the narrow roads you can walk. We enjoyed several nearby restaurants. It is on the south end of the island which is not crowded by tourists. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to return in the future!

Amazing location, great beaches and luxury villa.

We stayed for 11 day at Tamarind Hills and our stay was just perfect. The location on the western side of the island is great for sunsets and calm water. The villa was just as expected and even better. We stayed in the bedroom on the second floor instead of the master bedroom on the third floor just because we felt the view was even better from this room and we had less steps to go to our room!

The kitchen is large and has everything needed to enjoy a nice dinner like if we were at home. We cooked on the barbecue outside a few times and it worked just as expected.

The villa is located right between 2 very nice beaches (fryes beach and darkwood beach). The plunge pool on the patio is just amazing. You can have a drink and watch the ocean view right in front of you.

We really enjoyed going to jolly harbour in the morning (less than 5 minutes drive) for jogging on the beach, which is about 1.5km long and vey nice and clean. The grocery store (Epicurean) has everything you need if you want to eat at the villa and has a good choice of wine and spirits.

You must go to Heritage Quay in St.John for duty free shopping, restaurants, local arts, etc... located close to the cruise ships. Try to go when there are not too many ships at the docks !

Natasha, our made, was very friendly and professional, she gave us many advices for restaurants, place to visit, etc... and did a great job cleaning !!!

Our best restaurant was for sure Sheer rocks, located a few minutes by car. Expensive, but we don't mind paying when the food and service are 5*. If you want the best pizza, go to Al Porto. Very good service with a view of the marina.

Thank you Mr Wignall for sharing your villa with us, we can't wait to go back again for another perfect vacation...
