Cottage in Fort William, Scottish Highlands, Scotland - View Over Loch And Hills

Self-catering cottage on one level. Set on the hillside there are views from the living room and patio of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour and Corpach hills. The accommodation has its own private parking available. Within walking distance of the local shops, museum, amenities and the tourist office, it is easy to get immediate local information. For example daily weather conditions on Ben Nevis, what's on etc. No car is required for local shopping or meals out.

Perfect for a family holiday

This is an excellent property which has a homely quality to it (with lots of books and dvds) and the views of Loch Linnhe and the mountains are stunning. We had the best Christmas we've ever had staying here. The house is located within walking distance of Fort William high street which was good for getting presents and picking up some tasty goods from Ben Nevis bakery on the high street. It is a short drive to the supermarkets, Aonach Mor (for sledging, skiing and just playing the snow with the children) Glen Nevis estate and the Ben Nevis area which are excellent for walking or a scenic drive. The owner communicated well with us and made sure our stay was pleasant and easy. We will be recommending this property to friends and family if they wish to holiday in this area.

Activity and Interests


Beaches at Morar and Arisaig are approximately 50 minutes away by car.


Inverness airport is approximately 2 hours by car.

Overnight sleeper service to and from London is available.


It is 3-4 minutes walk to the Town centre High street. The foot of Ben Nevis is about 3k away.

Further Details:

The supermarkets in Fort William are Morrisons, Tesco, and Lidl. All are within walking distance. There are various restaurants, cafes and bars. Local museum. Boat trips. Steam train to Mallaig in the Summer.

£100 deposit - balance six weeks prior to arrival.

Changeover Day:
Saturday preferred. However this can be flexible.
