Luxury 125 square metre apartment in unbeatable location

Ciel Bleu Prefecture is a recently renovated 125 square metre 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It is arguably one of the best rental properties in Nice.

With an unbeatable location, it is situated on the edge of the Old Town just 50 metres from the Cours Saleya and 70 metres from the beach.

All the main tourist sites are within a short walk and there are countless restaurants and café’s on the doorstep as well as a small supermarket just 70 metres away.

The apartment has a vast living/dining room with two large stylish comfortable sofas, coffee table and a dining table with Eames chairs for 8 people as well as widescreen television with Apple TV and Netflix, high speed unlimited Wi-FI broadband and DVD player.

The fully equipped kitchen has a cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and also a bar table and bar stools.

The bedrooms are all a very good size. There are two double bedrooms with King Size double beds (160cmx200cm) and a twin bedroom with 2 large single beds (90cmx190cm).

The main bathroom has a large bath, separate shower, travertine sink, heated towel rail and WC and the second has a walk in wet room style rain shower, travertine sink, heated towel rail and WC. Both bathrooms have limestone tiles throughout.

There is high quality double glazing throughout the apartment and to ensure guests have a peaceful nights sleep we have recently installed a second set of acoustic double glazed windows in all the bedrooms. This is the approach used by very high end hotels.

There is also reversible air-conditioning (heating and cooling) throughout the apartment with separately controlled units in each room.

The apartment is situated in an historic building and therefore there are numerous beautiful original features such as the original fireplace, ceiling cornicing, parquet flooring and 3.5 metre high ceilings.

The building is one of only 5 in the Old Town which does have a lift so the access is excellent.

Whilst we do not have parking in the building itself there are 3 large car parks within 150 metres.

We provide Egyptian cotton linen for all the beds and luxury towels.

The apartment is a great choice for guests who are looking for something truly exceptional.

Why Mike chose Old Town

The Ciel Bleu Old Town apartment is situated on Rue de La Prefecture which borders the south side of Nice Old Town.

The building is over 200 hundred years old and is one of the most impressive buildings in the area. It is also one of the very few buildings in the old town which has a lift !

Given the age of the building the apartment has numerous original features such as beautiful high ceilings, original fireplaces, huge windows and antique parquet flooring.

With this apartment we have tried to create one of the best apartments in the whole of Nice.

The living area faces directly south so the light is fantastic.

We have completely renovated the apartment. Replacing all plumbing and electrics as well as installing a new bespoke kitchen and high quality bathrooms.

What makes this apartment unique

The location of the property is absolutely fantastic.

It is just 2 minutes walk from the seafront and all the best that Nice has to offer is literally on the doorstep.

The famous market on Cours Saleya is just 50 metres away.

Wonderful apartment in a beautiful city

My sisters, Mum and I spent a very happy and comfortable 4 nights together in this beautiful spacious apartment. We can truthfully say we wanted for nothing! Much care and thought has clearly been put into equipping this apartment with tasteful, quality furniture and appliances, including very comfortable beds. The location is just perfect to sample the varied charms of old Nice with many beautiful shops, boulangeries, cafes, and restaurants right on your doorstep. In addition, the beautiful market and just beyond that, the Promenade des Anglais. Mum was able to walk to most of these and we used the cycle taxis when we had gone too far afield which was a lovely experience in itself. Our favourite restaurant of this trip was La P’tite Cocotte set on a stairway on the way up towards Place Garibaldi. Fabulous food and service in a relaxed setting! We would highly recommend this apartment and the service we received from Mike and his team.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of old Town!

This was a very well maintained and spacious apartment with all the luxuries of of home. My friends and I had enjoyed that it was very accessible to the beach and old town. It’s literally steps away from shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and transportation. Mike and his team were very gracious hosts and I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Nice to stay here.

Wonderful stay in Nice

Thanks in no small measure to this very comfortable, spacious and centrally located apartment, my wife and I and an old friend in a wheelchair had a wonderful stay in Nice in early November. It is so enjoyable to make coffee and have breakfast "at home" with a baguette and some viennoiseries from a nearby boulangerie. We had dinner in the apartment one night, but mostly we ate out in the nearby, very good restaurants recommended by our guide books. Not in the books, but very tasty was a funky little bistrot Chez Memere (At Grandma's) in the passageway from la Rue de la Prefecture up to la Place Rossetti. The Promenade des Anglais is a lovely place to stroll and we figured out how to ride the "handicapped" buses to the Matisse and Chagall museums and to the Russian Orthodox Cathedral. One of the highlights of our trip was taking the 400 bus for the regular fare of 1.50 Eu (and the wheelchair ride was free) all the way to the splendid and very moving Matisse Chapelle du Rosaire in Vence. The apartment (and the town too) were easy for our wheelchair friend to get around in, but there are lips to both the elevator and the apartment. No problem at all with a pusher (my wife or I) to help, but they might have been difficult for our friend on her own. All in all we had a grand time in Nice and are delighted to have this opportunity to recommend the apartment to others.

Kjempefin leilighet med perfekt beliggenhet

Leiligheten er stor og sjarmerende og ligger veldig praktisk til i midten av gamlebyen.

Det var et yrende folkeliv rett utenfor men god lydisolering gjorde ikke det til noe problem. Det var greit å ha kort vei til både restauranter, puber og butikker.

Stranda er 5 min unna.

Vi var 6 personer som leide leiligheten og vi vil gjerne leie den igjen om vi returnerer til Nice.

Comfortable, spacious, clean apartment

My husband and I stayed with our two teen daughters in this great Nice apartment. It was very centrally located, clean and there was plenty of space for the four of us. We had a great time in Nice and really enjoyed our stay.

Booking Notes:
For bookings made well in advance a 25% deposit is payable to secure the reservation with the balance due 45 days before the start of your holiday.
Payment is made by bank transfer in EUR.
For bookings made within 45 days the full amount will be payable to secure the reservation.

Notes on prices:
The apartment has 2 double beds and 2 twin beds which sleep 6 people. For groups of 7 guests we can provide an additional bed at a cost of EUR 20 per night.

Check-in time is 3pm-6pm. We will be able to arrange a late check-in but this will incur an additional charge. For check-in from 6pm-9pm the amount is 30 Euro for check-in after 9pm it is 40 Euro. This is payable in advance.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
