Really well presented little cottage with lots of thought gone into decor and comfort. Beds comfy, towels fluffy. The wood burning stove in the kitchen makes it so cosy. Fish and chips around the corner, best ever, and the St Kew Inn a mile away served great food in a gorgeous old building. It was a great base for beaches , the Camel Trail and Bodmin. Our family of four plus dog had a really good time including a fab game of Monopoly on a vintage set provided by the owners. Can't wait to go back!

Lovely character cottage, had everything we needed (including outside space for the dog)

Lovely character cottage, had everything we needed (including outside space for the dog). Great location within easy access to many beaches and other days out.

Recommendations: Daymer Bay and Rock for families with dogs. Trevone Bay for body boarding and a family friendly day. Tintagel castle for some history.

It is called The Cottage - and that is what it is. Some excellent improvements in the kitchen.

We had some good weather, so we used the conservatory for meal times quite a lot. Bathroom does need updating as rather cramped / awkward. Main bedroom very light & airy - very comfortable bed. Smallest bedroom rather gloomy. All requirements met & thank goodness WiFi which was not stated on the property details but with teenagers is vital for a relaxed holiday!

From the Owner

Having spent so many holidays in this part of Cornwall, we decided to buy the cottage in 2003. Now with the children grown up we love to come back to Cornwall often , but are spending less time here in the school holidays. We love coming here all year round particularly in the Spring and Autumn. There is so much to do and enjoy in every season.

The cottage is located in a very convenient village with a pub, shop and fish and chip shop! It is also easy to drive into Wadebridge or through the lanes out onto the coast or one of the many beaches in the area.
