The Bastide at Le Mas De Rosemarie - Gordes - Walking Distance From Idyllic Village Of Joucas; 5 Minutes Drive From Famous Village Of Gordes

The Bastide is the most contemporary of the houses at Le Mas de Rosemarie, and has its own large swimming pool. It has 3 double-bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. The sitting/dining/kitchen area is open-plan, with glass doors leading on to the terrace. There are three large comfortable sofas, a dining room table that seats 8, and a fully-fitted kitchen. There is a flat screen TV (with British free view), a DVD player, and a CD player (with iPod dock). There is free wi-fi access throughout. The terrace is shaded by a large vine-covered canopy. There is a seating area, a dining table that seats 8 people, and a good sized Weber gas barbecue. The swimming pool is 11×4 metres and built with traditional Provencal stone surrounds. The views of the Luberon montains and the sunset over the village of Gordes are particularly spectacular!

About the Owner

My wife and I spent over 20 years working for the British Civil Service. We have always wanted to live in this beautiful part of France, so in 2011 we 'retired' early, sold our house in London and moved to Provence. We have not regretted the move for a single second! We love running Mas de Rosemarie and hope we have created a home from home! And the Luberon is stuffed full of things to do and see as well as being a tranquil haven in which to unwind. We look forward to welcoming you here!

A week of cycling

The property was perfect for our stay with our daughter, her husband and her seven year old son. The cycling around the area was very good and had lots of variety Roth from the door. It was also very private and quiet even though there were other quests in the other homes. We would recommend this home to our friends and family.

Situated in the heart of the Luberon, Le Mas de Rosemarie is, a mere stone’s throw (0.5 kms) from the idyllic and peaceful village of Joucas, and five kilometres from the famous hilltop village of Gordes.

There is easy access to, but seclusion from, some of the better known hilltop villages of Roussillion, Bonnieux and Menerbes. We are conveniently located between Avignon and Marseille. Aix en Provence is 45 minutes by car. Lourmarin is about 30 minutes away.
