Norton Park, Dartmouth - Wonderful, peaceful location only 5 mins from Dartmouth town centre

Tucked away in the best corner of Norton Park with spectacular far reaching green Devon and River Dart views The Hut is the perfect place to explore the area.

The grassy outside space is perfect for sunbathing or an alfresco picnic, the extra parking means you can park your boat or trailer.

Once inside, The Hut is flooded with natural light which compliments the cool crisp nautical theme offering a relaxing ambiance from the moment you arrive. An open living space and fully fitted kitchen thoughtfully laid out with all modern electric appliances, built in oven, microwave, cooker, fridge, washing machine & tumble dryer. Two bedrooms one with a king size bed and another with 2 singles, that can be made into a king size.

A beautifully appointed bathroom with a large walking shower.

The garden is safe and enclosed so children can play safely.

Bus stop is at the main entrance and close by is the Park & Ride service for quick & easy access to Dartmouth town running at 20 mins intervals during the summer months.

Within half a mile there is a Sainsbury's & Lidl store

Dartmouth is a delightful, historical and cultured town that embraces a wealth of individual shops producing a range of unique and original goods, with a famous museum, fine old inns and a fantastic choice of restaurants & cafés, some of which are tucked away in the back streets of this historic port. The galleries have a metropolitan style and the Flavel Centre is a great option for theatre, concerts & films.

The town has a variety of activities, which includes cruising, sailing, fishing, steam rail travel and also wonderful coastal walks, if that is not enough, you can explore the picturesque towns of Totnes, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Brixham or one of the 20 fine beaches and coves that are spread along 22 miles of coastline.

Dartmouth Golf Club and Woodlands Adventure Park, which is home of the largest indoor Adventure Centre are both only 10mins away.

The Hut is perfect for families throughout the year or friends looking for a luxury break on a budget.

After an extensive and complete refurbishment The Hut now offers a great Beach Hut Style holiday with all the comfort and facilities at a much more affordable price.

Brilliant Chalet high standard

Extremely high standard, has everything needed, certainly the best on the site. Every detail had been thought out. Beds comfy, very clean. Quiet surroundings, lovely view. Cream scones were waiting for us on arrival. No hesitation in recommending this chalet. Just as described, pictures very accurate.Sainsbury just down the road for anything required.

The owners have done a fantastic job on this property and deserve immense credit for making it in to a lovely, welcoming and high quality holiday home.

Rose was a pleasure to deal with throughout from booking the holiday until arrival and you couldn't ask for more from the chalet.

Dartmouth town and harbour is a stones throw from the property with easy access by car or the park and ride if you don't wish to drive in to the town and is also close to a very good standard of pubs for eating or just a few drinks in the sun.

My two boys (8 &13) were also kept very busy throughout the week with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Woodlands Theme Park is 10 minutes down the road and failing that there is always the cheaper option of crabbing which keeps kids entertained for hours.

I have a feeling we may well be visiting again.

THE HUT has the best views on park by far. Wonderful warm & contemporary. Really is a home from home. One morning we watched at least 10 birds of prey floating on the wind in the valley. Amazing. The beds are comfortable & it has everything you need. This is the new number one chalet no doubt.

The devon cream tea was a lovely touch.

We will definatly be returning soon.

The perfect getaway!

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! We looked around other properties on site but The Hut is on another level! It has been totally renovated and it has been decorated like a quaint and stylish little beach hut and because of its location, you have the most amazing sea and Dartmouth views. The shower is enormous and really good, the beds are super confortable with lovely fresh and good quality linen and the kitchen has everything you would need whilst on holiday. The weather was dreadful during our holiday but the hut was so quiet and warm all day long, so cosy! The owner is so lovely, she welcomed us and had really thought of everything, from board games to a disposable BBQ, she made our stay so enjoyable.

We went for dinner and drinks in Dartmouth one evening and that was only 10 minutes drive away which costed us £6 on a taxi. Ditisham and Blackpool sands are around 20 minutes away so location wise this place is perfect.

Also this is a pet friendly property which is brilliant!

We have already booked to return in a few weeks and also in the summer, would highly recommend!

Highly recommended

I visited 'The Hut' with a group of friends for a chilled weekend away. The chalet is beautiful with lovely views of Dartmouth & gives you a warm, homely feeling.

The decoration is really modern & creative, with a big bathroom and open kitchen/dining/living area - so plenty of room!

The location is perfect and easy to find. You can access a number of beaches without having to travel far such as Blackpool Sands, and Slapton.

I could not of asked for more, can't wait to go back in the Summer :-)

Beautiful spot

My Husband and I had a super week in this lovely little chalet. Wonderfully quiet spot, as cars can't park too near it, so just the birds singing in the morning and wonderfully relaxing in the evenings too. Lovely countryside and river views. We stayed in 'The Hut' before it was refurbished but it had all the necessary equipment for our needs. A very cosy comfortable chalet in a beautiful part of Devon. We did some lovely walks from the chalet. Dartmouth is a very quaint little town with some lovely shops. I certainly felt very relaxed after our week there. I most definitely would like to return now it has been refurbished. I highly recommend it.

Market Day is held every Tuesday & Friday and the Farmers Market every 1st Saturday of the month.
