Villa Caldeira, is a beautiful 4 bedroom villa and is almost unique in the fact that, unlike most Lagos villas it is within a very short walking distance of the award winning Lagos Marina, the stunning beach of Meia Praia and the historic old town. This recently upgraded holiday villa is built on one level in spacious landscaped gardens with its own large private swimming pool and is ideal for larger families or friends as the accommodation split with bedrooms at each end of the villa therefore affording privacy and the family living accommodation in the middle. The very large lounge has a very sociable corner sofa, there is a 52" satellite TV, offering over 85 UK channels , DVD player and full internet, free of charge . The villa couldn't be better situated to make the most of your stay in Lagos. Everything is within 5 minutes easy walk away - the 6 km long beautiful Meia Praia beach, the lovely marina and the historic and lively old town of Lagos with its many shops, restaurants and night life. Villa Caldeira is set within a very peaceful cul-de-sac and so offers the ideal retreat after a long day on the beach.

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Caldeira.

It's position is great as it is a few minutes walk from an enormous lovely sandy beach, and about 10 minutes from the Marina and old town where there are loads of lovely and inexpensive restaurants.

Not only is the villa well equipped, even with DVDs and PS1 games, but it has a washing line and BBQ too, plus a washing machine.

The photos do not do the villa justice. It is very spacious both inside and outside. The pool is lovely, and there is loads of patio space and sunbeds.

The lounge is large and very comfortable.

My 14 year old loved it there, as he could relax, take in a boat trip or walk to the supermarket for a freshly cooked hot chicken and rolls (plus large prawns at €9 a kilo!). The wine is great too, only €3 for a nice red.

Overall a wonderful relaxing holiday. It's a quiet spot, but very close to all the facilities of frankly the nicest holiday resort I have stayed at.

Great Villa

The description of the villa was accurate. Well equipped with excellent layout. The garden and pool were well maintained.

I cannot speak highly enough of the managers of the villa, Tracey and Adrian. They were at the Villa to greet us, very professional, answered our emails promptly and were on call to answer any queries while were at the Villa. We will certainly return!

The villa could not be better located being just a 2 minute stroll from the beautiful golden sands of Meia Praia beach.

From the waterfront you can enjoy many day trips and activities including dolphin safaris, diving, para gliding and boat trips to the grottos. Algarve Estate Management will be happy to arrange these on your behalf, should you wish.

A car is certainly NOT essential.

Being situated so close to the Marina Villa Caldeira is an ideal place to spend a relaxing family holiday. There are numerous cosmopolitan cafes, bars and restaurants in the Marina, together with cash machines and telephones. It is a gentle 10 minute scenic stroll across the river and footbridge to the bustling town of Lagos so car hire is not necessary. Attractions of the Marina:

- Wide selection of Restaurants - Bars and Bistros - Shops & Boutiques - Marina Health Club - Boat trips - Sailing - Scuba diving - Dolphin Watching. Marina Health Club: A short walk from the apartment is the Marina Health Club which is part of the 4* luxury Marina Hotel. The Health club can be used all day for a small fee.

Changeover Day:
Saturdays are preferred but flexible arrangements can be made by contacting Algarve Estate Management directly.
Check in / out times are 14.00 and 10.00 respectively.

Notes on prices:
Cots, high Chairs and additional beds available and charged locally. Cot - £20.00, High Chair - £15.00, Additional beds - £35.00. Prices are per week. 1 November to 31 March there is an additional charge of £50 per week for Electricity usage.
