About Peter Hedges

We have had a holiday home in Marbella for over 10 years now and consider it very much our 'happy place' where we can truly relax, enjoy fabulous Mediterranean food and take long strolls on the beach. We live in Surrey in the UK but we like to visit Marbella as often as possible - not only to ensure the house is looked after and maintained to the highest standard, but to enjoy the sea, the sunshine, the views and play a round of golf before the obligatory paella with a jug of sangria at our favourite "chiringuito" beach restaurant.

This is a special property - beautifully decorated and furnished and located in a secure, high quality development just 3 minutes stroll from the best beach on the Costa del Sol. It provides a great alternative to an apartment, as the townhouse feels more like a home from home. There is dedicated parking integral to the house and a roof terrace with wonderful views of the both the sea and the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. Sharing beautifully kept grounds and a lovely pool with only 7 other houses, it feels private and secluded, yet is close to everything you need.

Lovely villa, very close to superb beach and one beach bar/restaurant. Would have been nice to be able to walk to a few bars/shops in order not to have to drive everywhere though.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review and glad that you enjoyed the property as well as the beach and surrounding area. El Mangaleta. Trocadero, La Cabane, Los Sardinales, Los. Cano & the Hippopotamus Bar are all within walking distance on the beach, but it is true that the shops are a little further away. i suppose that's what gives the area it's peace and calm, but we do recommend hiring a car to all our guests, so as to also access the surrounding countryside and beautiful villages such as Marbella, Ronda, Mijas etc.

Wonderful property

Well appointed and located property

The finish is a very high standard, the welcome from the local agent warm and knowledgable.

The beach is literally at the bottom of the road and there is a restaurant bar on this beach.

The only downside is that there is no shop in walking distance, however the bus service is good or cabify works well (local uber service).

Was a wonderful break for our family of 4 and we would highly recommend it

Lovely stay

Great accommodation, very happy with our stay. everything you could need to have a comfortable holiday. great outside space for dining and sunbathing with a very quiet shared pool.Beach very close by. would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.

Fantastic place

Just back from a week in this lovely house. It is extremely comfortable and well appointed and it is beautifully decorated with a real beach house feel to it. There is lots of outdoor space - a balcony off the main bedroom, roof terrace and a terrace on the ground floor, just beside the swimming pool. It was very quiet when we were there and we had the pool pretty much to ourselves.

It is in an ideal location just a few minutes walk from the beach and a 5 minute drive to Marbella town centre.

We absolutely loved it and would definitely like to come back next year.

Great villa, quiet place, a home away from home

The townhouse is very nice and well equipped, about 3 miles east of Marbella city in a quiet neighborhood. We liked the place straightawayand did not want to leave at the end of our vacation. The property is very well maintained, you really feel at home immediately. Clear instructions from the owner on how to get there and what to do: "Wave nicely at the guard house" and we always did and it looked like the guards knew us for years. Surroundings/activites: It is just a 5 minute walk to the beach. A short drive into Marbella city. By car, 1 hour to get to Ronda or Gibraltar, 45 minutes to Malaga, so many interesting sights are easily reachable.

We can definitely recommend the place and decided already to return next year.

How's the serenity!

Serenity greets you as you walk thru the door. There is nothing to bring but a relaxed attitude & a swimsuit, oh well maybe some clothes to wear out.

The villa has a fanatastic location. Beach, restaurants and shops are not far away. Just a short walk to the beach and the endless days of summer. After a day on the beach you can go to one of the small restaurants along the beach and have wonderful meal to cap off the day. Go into Marbella and sit outside at a tapas bar enjoying the night life and then head off to see the Flamenco dancers and experience the energy and passion of the dancers & muscians.

The mountains at the back of Marbella have gorgeous villages to explore or you could take a ferry to Porto Banus and sightsee the luxury cars parked along the port.

The villa is a home away from home. Highly maintained and everything you need.

Just love it there and can't wait to go back there.
