Vesta is a first floor studio apartment with a balcony overlooking the decked patio area and courtyard. The bedroom, lounge diner are combined with separate kitchen area and bathroom with shower. The kitchen has fridge, hob and combination microwave, with full cooking utensils. The unit will host two adults and extra occupancy such as babies or children is not acceptable. The apartment is allocated one car park space. Guests access the apartment independently using a keybox code.

During peak season bookings of seven nights minimum with changeover day of Friday.

Jubilee Apartments

Jubilee apartments, a complex of 4 units. It is near the town centre and all the amenities it has to offer, including beaches, restaurants, cinema and golf club. The apartments are suitable for couples or families, offering two bedroom, one bedroom or studio apartment. Each apartment is well equiped with own access, and off road parking for three units. They can be booked individually or combined for larger parties or extended family. We do not accept pets at the apartments. Minimum booking of three nights off season and seven nights at peak season.

Guests gain access to the apartments independently using a keybox code. Please ensure you have this before leaving home.

About Gillian Tyldesley

Jubilee Apartments was originally our family home. When the children left, returned then left again, the conversion began. We moved into the rear of the property and father and son created two apartments to the front. After moving into Aurora, the two bedroom apartment, the rear of the property was converted into two studios. Its been great to hear the positive comments from guests about the facilities and the great location.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is in a great location being near to the town amenities and the fantastic beaches. Wifi available and private parking an added bonus during the summer months.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of £100.00 per week or part week is required on booking and final payment due six weeks prior to arrival date. Payment can be made by bank transfer or card for deposits (cheque is acceptable for balance payment). All rates are fully inclusive of power, linen and towels. Travel cot and highchair - check availability when booking.

Changeover Day:
During the months of May to September the changeover day is Saturday for Aurora and Gaia, Friday for Juno and Vesta, with more flexibility other times of year. The apartments are available from 4pm on day of arrival with departure by 10am on completion of stay.

Close to Newquay town centre the apartments are ideal for couples and can also be used as part of a combined group booking using the studio apartments, the one bedroom apartment Juno and the two bedroom apartment Aurora. The ideal package for up to 10 guests.

Very clean and well furnished and equipped accommodation located very close to town centre.

My wife and I spent our Easter vacation at Gillian's place. We had a very enjoyable time staying at her place. Checking-in was very easy; she communicated all the details very well. All the rules and instructions were clearly typed in a file in the apartment, which was exactly as in the pictures and descriptions. Thank you Gillian.

Cosy, compact flat close to the sea

Vesta is a compact first floor studio flat with parking at the back (where the stairs are). It has a wall heater which will make the whole flat very toasty if you want it to, but don't touch the wheel on the right which is a 7 day timer control. Like a lot of flats it's double glazed throughout which means it will seal tight as a drum if you want it to... but as the owner points out in the on site folder, that can lead to condensation, so you have to have a window open somewhere at least some of the time. There's a wall-mounted TV which will swivel, and it would appear that a number of previous guests have watched it while sitting on the edge of the bed. That tends not to do mattresses any good, and this one has apparently sagged slightly at that edge, though it was still comfortable. Location is good - although you can't see the sea the flat is close to the harbour, and is very handy for the New Year fireworks which is what we went for. Very quiet - I think we only heard one car and one seagull the whole time we were there. We ended up buying a second duvet, though to be fair there was a spare blanket on the sofa and the owner might have given us more blankets if we'd asked. The wooden staircase and balcony leading to the flat although apparently entirely sound could stand a repaint when someone gets the time - it's possible the salt air doesn't do the paint any good. Sainsbury's is close by and Frankie and Benny's is a short walk away. I wouldn't mind going back, and we may do. Perhaps we'll go and watch the fireworks again.

Excellent apartment for 2 people.

We really enjoyed our 3 days at the Vesta apartment in Newquay. The apartment is perfect for 2 people. Location is fantastic, just 2 minutes walk to Newquay town center shops, restaurants etc and 10 mins walk to Fistral beach.

Perfect location with parking and only a few minutes walk to the shops and beach. The apartment was great value for money, well equipped and clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we arranged the stay. We would highly recommend the apartment.

Newquay boast 7 wonderful beaches and the world famous Fistral beach is a few minutes walk as is the harbour and Towan beach.


Newquay airport is on the outskirts of town, approximately 6 miles and the train station within the town. Both well serviced by bus or taxi when you arrive. The bus station is a two minute walk. Once at the apartment a car is not essential as all amenities are close by.

Further Details:

shops, bars and restaurants are close by as are the fantastic beaches. Surf lessons are available on many beaches plus other adventurous activities
