We didn't want it to come to an End

What a great find! End Cottage in Ashford is a beautiful old cottage for two with everything that you need to have a great holiday. It was clean, well cared for and felt like home as soon as we were in the door! Lucy and Mike have obviously taken pride in presenting the cottage so attractively allowing its character to get under your skin. We enjoyed the stay so much that we have already booked it for two weeks next year. Thanks for a lovely week in End Cottage. James and Beccy Mead

Lovely country cottage in Derbyshire

  • 4 of 5

A lovely cottage in a very pretty village. Plenty of places for walks and the weather was very kind to me during my stay. Not far into Bakewell which was a very interesting place to visit. Loved my stay and found it relaxing in the evenings on my return from my daily tours

Home from home

  • 5 of 5

This peaceful little cottage is an ideal retreat for couples who want to enjoy beautiful scenery on their doorstop, places to visit and yummy pub lunches. The Derbyshire Dales and Peak District are beautiful any time of year. The cottage is warm, comfortable, well equipped and we felt instantly at home. We loved the wood burning stove in the lounge and the bed is really comfy. The owners confirmed our booking quickly, provided travel directions and the tea, coffee and biscuits provided on our arrival were very welcome. We would definitely visit again should the opportunity present.

Really lovely cosy cottage, perfect for the 2 of us!

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is lovely, really comfortable and warm... great for when you get in after a long walk. As a guest you're provided with everything you could possibly need... Wood and kindling for your own fire, a pint of milk in the fridge and tea and biscuits for when you arrive. I'd brought a lot of stuff with me from home thinking it wouldn't be provided but I was wrong...cleaning and washing up products, towels, hair dryer, body lotion and shower gel. All really great.

The cottage itself is in the perfect location. Very close to Bakewell and then a short drive to Eyam, Edale, Monsal Head, Castletonetc. The village itself has 2 pubs and a local village shop which literally stocks everything!

I would thoroughly recommend this cottage for any couple and wouldn't hesitate staying there again.
