This original split-level property is situated at the top of the High Street with a private covered secure parking space. It is part of a hidden-away development of just six maisonettes nestled into the cliff-side. It is very calm, despite the fact that the shops and restaurants are just a few steps away There are two double bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and all the necessary items for your comfort.

As described and better than expected.

Car parking tight but valued a reserved space secure, close to the property.

Good directions all the way to the front door.First impressions,larger than expected.Kitchen had all we could want.A few steps up a modern clean bathroom.Two good sized bedrooms.Good cupboard space.Glorious views from the bedroom and lounge Windows.Would not hesitate to throughly recommend.

Very comfortable, clean, well presented and equipped and in such a central location.

The apartment was much larger than we thought and so easy to find with the instructions from Christine. Everything was so clean, bright and cheerful. The location was excellent and we enjoyed walking into Falmouth every day. Even the weather was wonderful so we able to explore the coastline and use the ferries. The welcome pack was really appreciated especially the Saffron Buns and wine.

The communication between ourselves and Christine was excellent with all questions answered.

Thanks so much for a really lovely holiday.

Our Return to Falmouth

What a fantastic flat Horizons is. Everything was exactly as described and more. Lovely little touches made us feel so welcome and the location was all we could ask for.

We have stayed in and around Falmouth many times over the years but this is the best location we have ever had.

The owners have done everything they can to make this an outstanding place to stay and even the weather behaved.

I would certainly recommend Horizons.

Gem of an apartment

Thank you Christine for allowing us a short break in your apartment. We really enjoyed it. The apartment is perfectly located at the top of the High Street - the bakers just a few doors down is wonderful! The apartment is minutes walk away from everything and Falmouth is a great place to spend a few days - we could easily have spent more time there.

The apartment itself is much bigger than it looks in the photographs. There were 4 adults staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. It has a superb kitchen with all the facilities you could want including some very good steak knives! We all loved the shower and there were plenty of towels. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was very comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Christine was very efficient in answering my emails & her directions and map to get to the apartment were spot on. It was great to have a parking place - we left the car there and just explored on foot but it was good not to worry about parking issues.

The apartment is excellent value for money and Christine is an excellent host - we really appreciated the wine and the biscuits along with the fresh flowers.

We took the ferry across to St Mawes, ate in the Thai Orchid practically next door & also had lunch at a pop up oyster bar on the harbour - we had a fantastic time. Can't recommend it enough.

Location

From the Owner

My husband grew up just three miles from Falmouth, and we are lucky enough to have friends and family in the area. It is so wonderful to be able to look out of the window and see the sea, little boats bobbing about on the water. In the town, there is fantastic local enthusiasm for traditional music and customs, and at the same time it's a university town, lots of lively venues for the students.

Nearest Airport : Newquay at 20 Miles Nearest Barpub : Star and Garter Nearest Ferry : Prince of Wales Pier at 0.2 Miles Nearest Train : Falmouth Town at 1 Miles Nearest Beach : Gyllingvase at 1 Miles Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The waterfront is just on the other side of the road, Gyllingvase Beach is a short drive (1 mile) or a 20-minute walk

Travel:

Easy access by road, train (to Falmouth Town Station, via Truro) from Bristol or London, Newquay airport is around 35 miles away. Ferries from Roscoff, Saint Malo and Santander arrive in Plymouth, a 2-hour drive from Falmouth.

Distances:

Truro 13 miles, Land's End 40 miles, Eden Project 34 miles, and many other places of interest.

Further Details:

Local ferries to Saint Mawes and Flushing, boat and fishing trips around the estuary.

We require a deposit of 30% if bookings are made more that 6 weeks before arrival, with payment of the balance four weeks before the beginning of the stay. For bookings made closer to the time of stay, full payment is required on rsevation.
Payments may be made by bank transfer of Paypal.
Cancellations up to six weeks before the holiday will entail a £50 charge, for later cancellations, if we are unable to relet we may have to charge the total amount.

Changeover Day:
Saturday is changeover day in the high season, out of season shorter lets are possible.

Horizons is such an original place, with the split-level living/sleeping areas, not just a flat, not quite a house, with its stable door and vaulted ceiling. On leaving the property, you can choose to go up the steps to Harbour Terrace, or down others to the High Street, the car is safely parked in the covered garage, you can go everywhere in town on foot.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen, towels, and tea towels are provided and the beds are already made up on arrival. For lets of over ten days, our housekeeper will organise cleaning and the changing of linen during your stay.
