Apartment in La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol, Spain - Quite Location. The Nearest Beach Is Approximately 20 Minutes Walk From The Apartment

The apartment is situated in the urbanisation of Miraflores. Miraflores is located off the N340 highway approximately halfway between Marbella and Fuengirola, both of which are about 15 minutes in driving time from the apartment. It takes about 25 minutes to drive to and from Malaga Airport. There is a commercial centre called La Terraza very nearby. In La Terraza, you will find a selction of Spanish, British, Indian and Italian restaurants. La Terraza also has a small supermarket which is open every day, all year round. You wil also find a newsagents that sells British papers, an internet cafe and a laundry in La Terraze. Additionally, there is an ATM here, and a few bars, one of which is a late night bar. At 10-15 minutes walk away, towards the beach, there are more shops, bars, cash points, and restaurants and supermarkets, including a late-night supermarket.

Just thought I'd drop you a line as we had a perfect weekend. The apartment was perfect - Clean, modern, well-appointed and just right. The secure parking was a bonus too as we normally have to carry the clubs up each day after playing so the are not left in the car to be stolen - this small thing was an unexpected bonus and perhaps something for you to mention to people like us who use it for golf.



Please say thanks to Liz for me. Unfortunately apart from a quick word of thanks as we dropped the keys back off on the way back to the airport, I didn't have a chance to speak to her apart from on the phone or by text.



The trip was a bit of a whirl-wind from start to finish as we were delayed going out - thus having to go straight to the golf club and change in the car park. Ron met us in the Miraflores golf club bar after the game to give us the keys and it always seemed that we were chasing our arses all the time. Having 2 showers in the apartment was a bonus too as it meant turnaround from coming in to going back out again was quick.



I think you should do very well in letting that out as it's ideal for golfers or even people taking a holiday on the costa. We'll certainly be bending your ear next year and we will pass on any referrals from people we know to you.



Hope we can get together next time mate and catch up.

Travel:

The apartment is situated in the urbanisation of Miraflores. Miraflores is located off the N340 highway approximately halfway between Marbella and Fuengirola, both of which are about 15 minutes in driving time from the apartment. It takes about 25 minutes to drive to and from Malaga Airport. Car hire recommended.

Distances:

Within a short drive, there are many sandy beaches, like La Cala and Cabopino. The popular resorts of Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Marbella, Puerto Banus and Fuengirola are all within a short drive from the apartment. There are regular public bus service connections between Miraflores and both Fuengirola and Marbella.

There is a big selection of golf courses within a 10 mile radius.

Also within walking distance of the apartment, there is a sports club that has tennis courts as well as crown green bowls.

There are two local markets nearby. La Cala market is about 5 minutes drive, and has a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Adjoining Riviera/Miraflores, the Calypso urbanization has a market on Thursdays, and a car-boot sale on Saturdays.
