About The Villa

This charming 3 bedroom villa is located in the traditional fishing village of Moraira. The villa is on a very peaceful residential area with a wide range of amenities in the vicinity. Moraira town centre and the main sandy beach - L'Ampolla - are an easy 10 minute walk away.

The villa is set on a small and private community, the majority of which are permanent residents. All of these properties share access to a beautiful communal swimming pool, outside showers, large pool terrace and landscaped garden.

The house itself has off road private parking for one vehicle. A few steps lead up to the property itself, which is all on one level.

The naya at the front of the property has a dining table and chairs. This leads through to the spacious open plan living area, with feature fireplace and satellite TV. The modern kitchen has only recently been updated and is fully equipped with all mod cons including gas hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer.

The hallway leads off lounge and from here you can access the bedrooms and the bathroom. The three bedrooms comfortably sleep 5 in total - one with a double bed, one with twin beds and one with a single bed. The bathroom has also been recently updated and features a walk in shower, wash basin with vanity unit and wc.

The large private terrace (overlooking the swimming pool and garden) to the rear of the property is the ideal spot to unwind after a day at the beach. There is a gas BBQ, sun beds and an outdoor table and chairs.

About the area

Moraira has a wealth of charm and beauty. The surrounding area has stunning scenery combined with sandy beaches, blue seas and rocky coves and over 325 days of sunshine a year. Moraira is within easy reach of theme parks such as Tierra Mitica, Aqualandia and Mundomar. The town has a wide variety of quality shops, bars and restaurants plus the weekly Friday market where local produce is on sale. The Moors and Christian’s fiestas are held locally with spectacular costumes, parades and battles held in June/July with processions and fireworks displays. Moraira has sandy beaches with shallow waters ideal for children.

We first visited Moraira in 1994 as a family and were so impressed by the facilities and friendliness of the people. We returned the following year and the following year and each time felt like we were coming home. When this particular house came up for sale we were smitten and knew straight away we had to buy it. We have returned many times and still the magic remains. We hope that staying in our Spanish home will enable you to share this feeling too. The neighbourhood is quiet, private, relaxing and family orientating with the convenience of a short walk from the town. We hope that you will respect our home and treat it as your own and take home some lovely memories and return time and time again as we did.

The main beach in Moraira is 1km or a 20 minute walk directly downhill from the villa and the beautiful bay of El Portet is just around the corner from the Marina. There are other lovely coves in the area with sandy beaches which are very safe for children. Water sports are available from the main beach. Calpe is about 15 minutes away giving a beautiful coastal drive and here you can get boat trips along to Benidorm to the South or Denia to the North. Calpe is famous for its fish restaurants.


The excellent road/motorway ensures the property is approx 1½ hour from Valencia airport and 1 our from Alicante airport (both of which are serviced by Ryanair and/or Easyjet). The Casa location is less than 15 mins walk to the beach means a car is not absolutely essential, though it is recommended in order to explore the stunning local attractions. There is an excellent choice of car hire companies in both airports and these can be booked prior to leaving for Spain.


Moraira centre 15 min walk. Calpe 20 mins by car. Altea 30 mins by car. Benidorm 40 mins by car. Javea 20 mins by car. Denia 40 mins by car. Jalon Valley 40 mins by car. Guadalest 1 hour by car.

Further Details:

There is a large selection of restaurants and bars in Moraira and wonderful coffee shops in front of the marina for that early morning stop. On the coastal road to Calpe there are many more fabulous restaurants. This stretch of road has a wonderful coastline. In Moraira you will also find supermarkets, banks, hairdressers and coffee shops and some lovely and very fashionable shops. Water sports, fishing, go karting, tennis are just some of the leisure activities on offer. There are some lovely old towns and villages to explore with Altea and Guadalest being two of the most popular. For those not wishing to drive too far afield there is an agent in Moraira where trips/tours can be booked. For a more lively day - and night - Benidorm with its theme and water parks is just a short distance. There are folders in the house with lots of information to enable guests to make the most of their stay in Moraira.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit is required when booking & balance payable 8 weeks prior to the date of travel. The deposit is not refundable unless another booking replaces your cancellation. A damage deposit £200 per booking refunded after inspection. Alternative arrangements will be made for last minute bookings. Long rentals & short breaks are negotiable. Winter rentals are priced on request & exclude electricity and water bills which are paid by the renter.

Changeover Day:
Change over day will usually be Saturday however other days maybe accommodated. Departure by midday at the latest and arrival after 4pm but there maybe some flexibility depending on individual flight times.

Our property is an hours drive from Alicante airport and 1.5 hours from Valencia. The beaches are lovely with bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. This is an ideal location for those who wish to explore the area from traditional Spanish villages to historical sights and stunning coastline. It has many things to suit and cater for all ages.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa is suitable for children. Cots and high chairs are available at 20 Euro per week. A free standing heater /fan are also available. Marble floors throughout. Outside: The property has a patio area with dining area and a gas BBQ. Patio furniture is provided. The large and very quiet communal pool surrounded by beautiful gardens is gated for private use of the community only. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included. The villa is thoroughly cleaned and linen changed after each rental period. Further cleaning can be arranged, if required, but is charged to guests. Welcome pack available on request at a charge of 10 Euro. Other: To the back of the villa there is a large patio with sun loungers and table and chairs for outdoor dining that over looks the gardens and pool area. There is also a gas BBQ
