The villa is situated on a small established holiday complex that rightly can boast extensive cliff-top sea views with access to onsite facilities Including an indoor heated pool. It is an ideal base to explore the Suffolk/Norfolk coast and the famous Norfolk Broads. With ever continuing Villa upgrades have seen a complete refurbishment inside including beds, furnishings and a unique Steam Shower as well as an enclosed outside deck area.

About Peter Bowler

We are Peter and Gina and love being by the sea having spent time on the coast working abroad in Portugal.

Our brick built Villa in the quaint village of Corton in Suffolk was just about the closest we could get to the sea in the UK without getting our feet wet.

We always try to take our Bernese mountain dog Bella, who loves the nearby beach (not the water) and woodland walks and sometimes our tortoise Sam (when he's awake) whenever we have an opportunity to visit.

Having found it difficult in the past to find suitable holiday accommodation that accepts pets, until we found the villa that is, so we decided to allow pets to holiday free as it cuts out the stress, hassle and expense of being parted, after all they are part of the family in our view. We currently live and work in Kent but love Suffolk and take every available opportunity to visit when circumstances permit and would like to think if you get a chance to visit you will feel the same.

The Villa is perfectly situated to explore the Suffolk and Norfolk area with its many accessible beaches and woodland parks and of course the famous Broads all within easy striking distance. There is so much to do and see for all ages which we believe makes it such an ideal holiday destination whether you are looking for a relaxing or adventurous break.

What makes this villa unique

The Villa came as virtually an empty shell enabling us, after some considerable hard work we might add, to provide both quality and comfort across all the furnishings and fixtures including unusual features like the steam shower as well as comfortable beds and a modern kitchen, something not only we appreciate when we have an opportunity to stay but hopefully also for the benefit our welcome guests.

"Fantastic Week In Fantastic Accommodation"



My wife, two year old boy and myself were the first guests to stay in Ocean Palm Villas 18. The accommodation was superb, well equipped, comfortable with all the mod cons including a steam/sauna shower, and recently refurbished. It also has an outside decked area, which is fenced and gated, which we were happy to let our little boy play on. Location is in Waterside Holiday Park in Corton, and amenities include a restaurant/bar with very reasonably priced food and drink, as well as a covered outdoor heated swimming pool, which our little boy enjoyed most mornings before setting off to explore the area and attractions. Gorleston-on-Sea has one of the best beaches that we have been to in the UK, Fritton Lake has a fantastic childrens play area, Oulton Broad you can walk along the lake/river as well as another great childrens play area. The beach next to the holiday park is just a short walk away and was pleasant to walk along whilst the sun was setting. We needed somewhere to get away to and relax and enjoy ourselves. Everyone, including staff, residents and other guests were all very friendly and helpful and it helped make our stay/holiday one of the best that we have had in the UK. We are sure to return and have another holiday in Peter and Gina's superb villa.

Lovely property very modern no complaints and would stay again .

We had a lovely long weekend stay for dads 80th birthday the only thing I would say is maybe have curtains up in the single and twin bedrooms as the blinds don't keep the Sun out when it rises at 5 .30 am but this is in no way a complaint and we would stay again. The new managers of the onsite bar was lovely and very welcoming . A lovely place to stay.

Comfortable, quiet accomadaton

A bit disappointed that the facilities were closed. and there was only internet access for one device unless you paid extra. Perhaps this could be made clear on booking.

Nice, clean comfortable place to stay. Good for kids to be able to play outside.

Lovely location and a really helpful owner

Clean and well equipped with a nice steam shower. We really enjoyed our stay and our family loved it! The path down to the beach was unfortunately closed throughout winter months, so a short car drive to get to the beach for a walk. We made use of the pub and the Chinese takeaway, across the road from the park and found both were great. The only negative if we were picky was that the mattress in the main double bed is a bit tired and not all that comfy. Don't let that put you off though, as we would definitely recommend this villa. Thank you for a great stay.
