Excellent cottage. Really well equipped

  • 5 of 5

Had to reschedule because of weather. Kate the owner could not have been more helpful and we were able to alter without cost. Very supportive and easily contactable if necessary. We had no issues and were very pleased with the location and the cottage. Good quality throughout and spacious rooms. The welcome pack and cake were nice touches. Tea and milk etc really are a godsend after a long journey.

Clean, tidy and very welcoming

  • 5 of 5

Fully equipped property owned by the loveliest people. Very warm, welcoming and cosy. We had everything we needed for a week away.

To arrive to a home made cake, milk in the fridge and bread and butter too, the holiday off to a great start!

The decor was simple but yet charming and with a lovely cottage feel. The cottage was very clean.

Situated perfectly for Southwold, Halesworth, Dunwich, Aldeburgh and even Orford and Lowestoft.

Lovely walks around the village for the dogs, nice pubs and good fish and chips from everywhere locally!

Lovely part of the world to explore. North and south cove beaches are lovely, as are walberswick, Southwold and Dunwich.

Will definitely return for another week.

Perfect stylish and cosy cottage in idyllic location.

Fantastic accommodation - very cold out but heating worked really well and log burner was brilliant. All facilities were good and decor clean and stylish. Location was in a pretty village with two local pubs and close to Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich Heath and Snape Maltings.

Just what the holiday doctor ordered

  • 5 of 5

Felt at home as soon as we were settled in. Found Dreadnought Cottage charming, immaculately clean and tidy, and very well-equipped. Nephew and his girlfriend joined us for three nights and they too said they felt at home as soon as they'd unloaded their luggage (the welcome cake helped!). Garden's a great place to sit out and barbecue if you have the weather for it. Recommend this cottage without hesitation.
