Bungalow in Swanage, Dorset, England - Private Off Road Parking For Two Vehicles. Very Peaceful Area. 10 Minute Walk To The Beach

A two bedroomed detached bungalow in quiet residential area of Swanage. Just a three minute walk to the tennis courts, putting green and lawn bowls, a further three minutes will take you to the beach at Ocean Bay. Here you can hire kayaks and pedal boats or just relax in the Bull and Boat restaurant taking in the fabulous view across to the Isle of Wight. An eight minute walk along Swanages Blue Flag beach will take you to the town centre which boasts a number of fine eating places from Italian to Chinese and of course the traditional fish and chips. Diving courses can be booked on the pier and also there is a small museum, this end of town also has the lifeboat station and the beautiful Prince Albert Garden leading up to Durlston Country Park and the newly restored Durlston Castle. The other end of town has the bus and train station, from here you can bus to Wareham, Poole, Bournemouth etc or take the steam train to Corfe, a treat not to be missed. As Swanage is situated on the Jurassic Coast there is ample opportunity for hiking, cycling and rock climbing. Only two miles from the bungalow is the Isle of Purbeck Golf Course with beautiful views over Poole Harbour and Sandbanks as you play. Due to the steps to the kitchen and patio doors we do not consider the property suitable for children under 8.

the bungalow is ideally located in swanage probably 10 min walk to beach.Opposite the bungalow is a lovely park with swings etc and lots of room for games.the bungalow itself is much better than we expected a real home from home.it is very spacious and has a lovely garden. the photos don't do it justice and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Beautiful spacious bungalow, ideal quiet location

Having visited Swanage for over 10 years, our recent stay in this bungalow was the best we have enjoyed. We felt home from home and very comfortable. The road is beautiful and very quiet, ideally located close to everything Swanage has to offer but far enough out to be peaceful.

The property is well maintained and very clean throughout. It is spacious with plenty of furniture and storage, the kitchen has a large array of pots/pans and utensils, and the fridge freezer is a good size. The beds are very comfortable in good sized bedrooms. The garden is large and not overlooked, with a large shed housing the garden chairs complimenting the patio table and chairs which we used regularly during our stay.

The owner met us on the day we arrived and is very personable and passionate about her property. We have had excellent communications and the booking/payment process was efficient and very straightforward.

My family and I will definitely be returning next year, hopefully for a 2 week stay this time!

Excellent Accommodation, Perfect Location

Spacious and comfortable accommodation with a lovely big garden. Within walking distance to the town, beach, park, friendly pub/restaurant, swimming pool, steam railway and bus stop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this homely and well looked after property.
