A recently renovated mezzanine apartment within the Chalet Tam building. Stair access to a mezzanine bedroom area, on one side a double bed and on the other a bespoke bunk bed area. The accommodation also has a double sofa bed. Can sleep a maximum of 6 people.

Chalet Tam is a beautifully refurbished traditional chalet located very close to Morzine town centre, which is only a few minutes walk away. It benefits from an incredibly spacious living area, with plenty of space for any group to use the room for both watching TV or sitting quietly reading a book. Many of the original features have remained in it's stylish refurbishment, including many original beams and the large original wooden sliding doors that show how the building would have been used a 100 years ago, housing animals in what would have been the wooden barn area in the cold winter months when the family would live in the downstairs stone built section. It really is a beautiful setting to enjoy your time in the Alpls whether it be in the Winter months snuggled up with a fire or in the summer with the balcony doors open. The closest Supermarket is less than a 2 minute walk and the Super Morzine lift is an easy walk along a flat road (approx 800m). The free ski bus stops just a few metres from the building if you don't fancy the walk. Also accessible on foot is all the bars, shops and Restaurants Morzine has to offer. The nearest of which being a 1 minute walk away. The apartment has a huge garage to store skis, boots and bikes securely.

The second apartment (Apt Tam) can be rented either seperately or along with the larger chalet Tam. Apt Tam is a studio with a mezzanine level comprising a double bed area to one side of the stairs and a bunk area on the other. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, a shower room with washing machine and tumble dryer and a seperate WC.

Booking Notes:
A 10% deposit secures your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Payments are made by bank transfer into owners French account.

Changeover Day:
Sunday is the usual changeover day, however is can be flexible at certain times of the year.
Arrival times are from 16:00 - Departures by 10:00. Again we can be flexible with these times depending on other bookings. There is luggage storage facitilies.

Notes on prices:
All prices include towels, linen and end of stay clean.

Special interest holidays:

Morzine offers a number of other activities outside and during the Winter ski season. It is a ideal centre for Mountain and Road Biking, Hiking, climbing, rafting, canyoning, yoga and also swimming.

Coast/Beach:

Lake Geneva is easily accessable by car from Morzine (40 minutes by car). Thonon Les Bains is the nearest point to access the lake with its various beaches and water front promenades.

Travel:

1hr 15 minutes from Geneva airport.

Further Details:

A great place to explore the alps whether it be on foot, skis or bike! There are a number of activities to enjoy in and around Morzine. There is a massive marked trail hiking area for any level of walking, lift assisted mountain strolls or more challenging ridge lines with fixed chains and scrambling for the more adventurous. Other activities include whitewater rafting, canyoning and of course the lift system is also open to mountain bikes in the summer where it be marked downhill courses or cross country adventures that suit. It is also a fantastic base for road bikes with its close proximity to some of the most famous alpine cols.
