Within walking distance there are a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars, banks, supermarkets and other small local shops.

Lovely clean spacious apartment

Very nice apartment handy for anyone who doesn't,t want to drive , the beach is walking distance as are the supermarkets , restaurants and bars , there are three pools , one being an indoor which is very nice , perfect for a family holiday as everything is accessable , we were met with the keys as our flight was late , the owner even had his mother bring some extra bedding for the cot , nice bars and restaurants , but not the chicken take away or the Spanish restaurant in the square , would recommend for families or couples

Very pleasant stay in top of the range apartment

The whole complex was very smart, clean and beautifully laid out. I don't think the image on the right does it justice. Because it was gated, it felt safe and private. The nearby concierge facility was helpful, if you wanted to use it. Every day, people were cleaning and maintaining the outdoor areas. As well as the outdoor pool, sea swimming was an easy distance away.

The apartment itself was clean, spacious and very pleasantly comfortable.

Each bedroom had ensuite facilities. The living room had a bed settee and the adjoining shower room could be used as an ensuite for the living room. The kitchen was well equipped.

There was a sunny outdoor area, which would be lovely to sit/eat out in warm weather. Even in March, it was pleasant. The apartment had central heating and aircon, but in hot weather, would be cooler than some of the other apartments, because it is on the ground floor.

The apartment had on site parking, but, if you didn't have a car, there is a bus stop 2 minutes walk away, with buses towards Marbella and Fuengirola, for onward train and coach connections.

There are good supermarkets 5-10 minutes walk away, with high quality fresh fish and meat. Nearby play facilities for children. Also restaurants and tapas bars. Elviria is a proper village with a Church and many beautiful villas in the surrounding area.

We like walking, so one of the best things for us was walking along the clean beach (2 minutes walk from the complex), which has many bars, cafes, restaurants, including Nikki's, which is famous. In the evening, we loved watching the sun set in the distance over the coast of Africa/Gibraltar and a cold beer.

I would definitely recommend it and hope to go there again.

Elviria with a toddler

A wonderful time was had by all in this cool, clean, bright and spacious apartment, 2 mins walk from the beautiful Nikki beach on the Costa del Sol (with views of Gibralter and the Atlas Mountains on a clear day). The apartment itself is huge, with 2 large bedrooms, both with king size beds and luxurious en suite bathrooms. A pleasant al fresco dining area, a third bathroom and a well appointed kitchen complete the package. The apartment complex is tasteful and quiet with a gorgeous outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sun/loungers. Marbella, Ronda and Malaga are within easy reach - we took buses everywhere. Our toddler absolutely loved her time in Elviria - especially the beach and the little play park in the woods next to the large supersol supermarket. We cooked a lot, but there are many local restaurants with a huge range of food. A totally relaxing, easy and fun holiday - I whole heartedly recommend it.

Perfect Beach Stay

We had a lovely stay in this apartment over the New Year period with another couple. The apartment was spacious and sun-drenched with contemporary furnishings throughout. The bedrooms were fresh and airy with comfortable beds and crisp linen. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom which was both modern and chic with beautiful plush towels. We really enjoyed the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen space... comfortable sofa, large tv & all the mod cons. We didn't swim in the pool as the weather was too cool however the grounds, garden and pool area were beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the convenience of eating out at the local cafes and restaurants… great food and relaxed ambience. We would highly recommend this apartment and looking forward to our next stay.

Awesome apartment! Great area

We had a great time. The weather was fantastic! We even got to have lunch on the terrace on Christmas day. The evenings were cool but once the sun was out it was glorious.

The beach is a stone throw away from the apartment and there is a good restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The kids played in the sand whilst we had lunch.

The apartment is great. Clean, smart and the furniture looks new. There are two really spacious rooms where we could spread all our things and there is a handy garage just below the apartment. The landlords gave us lots of information for local activities and sightseeing.

All in all a great break from cold grey London! Thank you for all your help!

When we first saw this flat we immediately loved the fact that it was a spacious 2 bedroom with 3 bathroom with a large open plan lounge, dinning room and kitchen. Its location is perfect, near the nicest beach, near shops, cafes and restaurants in a leafy neighbourhood. The mix of local and foreigners all year round means that no matter when you go there will always be a good atmosphere. The final added benefit is the link to the Alanda club with fantastic pool and facilities.

A few steps take you down to the safe sandy beach of Elviria with choice of excellent beach restaurants, Nikki Beach club (which opens June - October), El Laurel, Tony's, Christinas, La Papillon to name a few of the beach restaurants. There are many watersports such as banana boating, jet skis, pedaloes. A little way along the beach there are rock pools.


Nearest airport is Malaga (30 minutes drive away). Taxis to the apartment cost around 50 euros.

A train service runs from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola every 30 minutes for 3 euros. A shorter taxi journey from here to the flat would be around 25 euros.


Marbella is 10 mins away by car, Puerto Banus 20 mins, Fuengirola 15 mins. Ronda is about an hour away and the tiny mountain village of Mijas is about 20 mins. A trip to Gibraltar for tax free shopping takes about an hour. For snow - the Sierra Nevada, Granada, is just under a 2 hour drive.

An all year round resort. Hiking/walking - free guided walks of the La Cala countryside every Wednesday,Saturday and Sunday, also at La Cala is horse racing and top name concerts in the summer. At Fuengirola -the aquapark, go-carting. Mijas - horse-riding. Try a 4x4 off road tour or a trip to the Polo matches at Sotogrande. Mini cruises from the various ports to see the dolphins and whales. Tennis - at the Don Carlos Tennis Centre, the Lew Hoad Tennis Centre. Clubbing and partying within walking distance too.
