Why Francois Verlaine chose Marbella area

When we first saw this flat we immediately loved the fact that it was a spacious 2 bedroom with 3 bathroom with a large open plan lounge, dinning room and kitchen. Its location is perfect, near the nicest beach, near shops, cafes and restaurants in a leafy neighbourhood. The mix of local and foreigners all year round means that no matter when you go there will always be a good atmosphere. The final added benefit is the link to the Alanda club with fantastic pool and facilities.

Fantastic Apartment

In one of the best locations in Elviria this spacious apartment was like being home from home. Every attention to detail was made to ensure our stay was faultless. The apartment is modern contemporary clean all the bathrooms with up to the minute sanitary ware, the beds comfortable (a big must for us on holiday) kitchen fully equipped washing machine and dryer and great air conditioning throughout. The TV provided Apple and Netflix so it was really like being home from home. We actually stayed 5 weeks and really didn't want to leave - the large pool is only a few steps away very clean and well maintained and one of the many beaches is at the end of the road!! All in all a superb apartment - we will definitely be returning next year! Oh and one final point the owner is lovely to deal with - thanks for everything!! from the Blacks

Possibly the best apartment within the complex!

The apartment was fantastic! Very spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped and with 3 quality bathrooms (1 bath, 2 shower). As a ground floor apartment, the balcony leads onto what is effectively a small private garden. Seconds walk away from great swimming pools (which my two daughters loved), and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach.

The complex and surrounding area is very clean and well appointed, also quiet and ideal for families or couples looking for peace. For those that want parties on your door step - perhaps not for you. We did not rent a car (although the apartment comes with a spacious underground car park) but were able to walk across the bridge over the highway, shop in the Super Sol and taxi back to equip the apartment with food/drink etc. The El Laurel Restaurant by the beach was also great. 20 mins / EUR 20 taxi rise to Marbella Old town which is a very nice visit and 10 mins / EUR 10 taxi to Peurto Cabopino if you fancy a change. Also nice to stroll up to the 5 star Don Carlos Hotel for a cocktail (5 mins walk).

I believe Francois has one of the best apartments within the complex and have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody.

If you do decide to take it...I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did!

Spacious, bright and modern apartment.

Lovely quiet location with nice pool. Amazingly close to the beach where you can hire sun beds for €6 per day. A huge variety of restaurants. Our favourite was Rubyana's. It's a bit out of the way but the food and the people are great there and it was really good value. You can get the bus to Marbella. The old town is worth a visit. This was my second visit to this apartment and I'm sure it won't be my last.

Perfect Location

This is a really big well equipped apartment. In reality it has 3 full bathrooms, 2 with walk in showers and 1 with a shower in the bath. The air conditioning works well and the beds are comfortable. Also the shutters on the windows ensure blacked out bedrooms. When collecting the keys from the agent make sure that you get the cards that give access to the car park and pedestrian gates. These cards need to be coded at the Alanda reception for the duration of your stay.

The ability to use the Alanda Club facilities is a bonus especially for families. There is a wonderful child friendly pool there with plenty of sun loungers around! Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are a short walk. Also the gate by the pool gives quick access to the beach. Sun loungers at El Laurel beach restaurant are available at €6 per day. This restaurant is one of the pricier on the beach- 2 G&T's & a beer cost us €25!!!! Sticking to beer & wine is more advisable!!

The owner of this property is really nice to deal with- he always replied promptly to any queries and even sent us an email mid holiday to check that everything was OK!

Lovely, spacious apartment in a fantastic location

The apartment was great. Very spacious (every room), full of natural light and modern. It had everything to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible. Just what you want on holiday. The location was fantastic, 150metres from a lovely beach and with shops, bars and restaurants 5 minutes away. The complex was very pretty too, with beautiful pool area. Would highly recommend and would defo stay again. The apartment made the holiday perfect.

Really great appartment!

We had a great time in This appartment, it's really big, it's well equipped and it was certainly big enough for us as a family of five. Bathrooms were nice, bedrooms big and the appartment has a great location along with good pool/s. We really had a lovely week!

Coast/Beach:

A few steps take you down to the safe sandy beach of Elviria with choice of excellent beach restaurants, Nikki Beach club (which opens June - October), El Laurel, Tony's, Christinas, La Papillon to name a few of the beach restaurants. There are many watersports such as banana boating, jet skis, pedaloes. A little way along the beach there are rock pools.

Travel:

Nearest airport is Malaga (30 minutes drive away). Taxis to the apartment cost around 50 euros.

A train service runs from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola every 30 minutes for 3 euros. A shorter taxi journey from here to the flat would be around 25 euros.

Distances:

Marbella is 10 mins away by car, Puerto Banus 20 mins, Fuengirola 15 mins. Ronda is about an hour away and the tiny mountain village of Mijas is about 20 mins. A trip to Gibraltar for tax free shopping takes about an hour. For snow - the Sierra Nevada, Granada, is just under a 2 hour drive.

Further Details:

An all year round resort. Hiking/walking - free guided walks of the La Cala countryside every Wednesday,Saturday and Sunday, also at La Cala is horse racing and top name concerts in the summer. At Fuengirola -the aquapark, go-carting. Mijas - horse-riding. Try a 4x4 off road tour or a trip to the Polo matches at Sotogrande. Mini cruises from the various ports to see the dolphins and whales. Tennis - at the Don Carlos Tennis Centre, the Lew Hoad Tennis Centre. Clubbing and partying within walking distance too.
