Villa in La Marina, Costa Blanca South, Spain - Located Close to Shops/restaurants, 6 Minutes Drive to Beach, 20 Minutes from Alicante Airport

This luxury villa is situated conveniently only 20 minutes drive south from Alicante Airport and is situated on an urbanisation off the main coast road only a short distance from the beaches at La Marina and the lovely seaside town of Guardamar. The villa is in excellent condition and tastefully decorated, accessed through secure gates contained in a private walled area. There is a parking space within the grounds. The plot is level and the house is surrounded by exotic trees and plants. The pool is private and has 6 comfortable sun loungers with sun shades. Inflatable toys for the pool are kept on the roof terrace with a pump so let the children enjoy themselves. There is also a table tennis table on the roof terrace with bats and balls so please enjoy!. The house is very comfortable with free wifi available. There is a large flat screen TV with English & Spanish channels for you to watch your favourite programmes. There is a large leather corner sofa in the sitting room so when you've had enough of the sun sit back and relax. The kitchen is modern and is equipped with all you will need for your stay. There is a utility area outside the back door for your use. Here there is also further table with chairs for relaxing in - this area is shaded during the morning so perfect for breakfast. There is a dining table inside the house and another outside by the pool that accommodates six people. This area is ideal for a relaxed stay as the area itself is very quiet but within minutes walk to shops and restaurants and then only a very short drive to the beach.

Lovely relaxing holiday

Just returned from a lovely relaxing holiday staying at this villa. Everything you would require and close to all amenities. Very private and loved the idea of the electronic gates leading to the car port. Will definitely return !

Great Break

Took my retired parents on a 11 days holiday break to this villa which was ideal as it was all on one level. The villa was very clean and tidy excellent swimming pool large covered car port which was ideal as the weather was very warm. Could not fault this place at all everything we needed inside to make it a comfortable stay would highly recommend. Great location. We would all return.

A fantastic villa with agreat pool

Part of me really didn't want to write this review - when you find a gem like this you want to keep it for yourself!

We've stayed in San Fulgencio/ La Marina a number of times and this is the first place where we'd be more than happy to go back to.

The location is perfect - lovely and peaceful yet within an easy walk from a supermarket, bars, restaurants & takeaways.

As well as this you're only a 5 minute drive away from the beautiful La Marina beach.

The fact that you're only a 20-25 minute drive from Alicante airport is a real bonus (you'd never know this - you never see or hear any aeroplanes).

The villa itself is fantastic - clean & comfortable with everything you need (including a reasonably fast internet connection).

We hardly needed to use the air conditioning despite temperatures in the 30's - it's easy enough to use the shutters to block out the sun yet keep a cooling airflow.

The pool is fantastic - it's deep enough to swim in yet not so deep that you get worried about being out of your depth.

A really nice touch is the car port - It's amazing how much cooler the car is when it's been shaded.

Maxine (the agent in Spain) is extremely helpful and informative and is happy to assist with anything whilst you're there.

All in all a great villa in the perfect location - we'll be back.

Lovely Villa

This is a lovely villa, very well equipped and in excellent condition.

There is plenty of room around the good size swimming pool to take advantage of the sun

Although it is situated on an urbanisation it was very peaceful and relaxing. Shops, bars etc are all in walking distance and the beach is only a short drive away.

We had a great holiday and would highly recommend.

Fantastic Villa

We have recently returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week in La Marina. We could not fault the villa in any way and it lived-up to the beatiful pictures on the website. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the villa has obviously been well looked-after by the owners and their agents. As soon as we arrived we felt completely at home. The villa has all the facilities needed for a relaxing and care-free holiday. Free Wi-Fi and English satellite TV were an added bonus.

Although we visited in March, the pool was crystal clear and so inviting I swam every day – very bracing!

The villa itself was only a few minutes walk from a good selection of bars and restaurants as well as a bank (La Caixa) and supermarket (Consum).

The owners provide a very comprehensive guide to the villa facilties and places of interest to visit – very helpful indeed.

I would have no reservation about recommending this villa to family and friends and will be happy to visit again – availability permitting!

We visited La Marina in May 2104 with the intention of looking around the Alicante area for a property, and as soon as we saw this one we knew immediately it would be perfect. The previous owners had kept it in first class condition, and we had virtually nothing to do to improve on it. It is in a great location to either Alicante or Murcia airports, both of which are well served from the UK, and it is ideally situated close to the wonderful coast of the Costa Blanca south region. The region boasts a wonderful year round climate. The long beach at La Marina is almost totally undeveloped apart from a coupe of real Spanish beach restaurants, and in high season is patrolled by life guards.

Nearest Airport : Alicante at 10 Miles Nearest Barpub : at 200 Metres Nearest Restaurant : at 200 Metres Nearest Beach : La Marina at 2 Miles Car: recommended


The nearest beach is at La Marina, less than 10 minutes drive. There is free parking at the beach, along with restaurants and bars. The beach has the Blue Flag accreditation, and has lifeguards on patrol in the summer season. Sand dunes are at the back of the beach and trees are behind giving it a natural feel. There is a restaurant and toilets available. There is also a beach bar/café selling snacks, meals and ice creams. During the summer it is possible to hire sunbeds with shades over.


Alicante airport is 20 mins drive away

Murcia airport approx. 40 mins drive


20 mins drive to Aqua Park in Torrevieja

20 mins drive to Elche

30 mins drive to Alicante which is a very cosmopolitan city with a harbour where you will find lovely restaurants.

20-30 mins to Cabo Roig and La Zenia, where there is a new Shopping Mall called La Zenia Boulevard. The shops are open every day from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm (later in summer) and include many high street fashion stores and restaurants

The villa is located on La Marina urbanisation which has several local areas of shops, banks, bars and restaurants all in walking distance

There are 2 large supermarkets (Lidl and Supermercado) at the exist from the main N233 road, which are approx. 3-5 min drive from the villa

Please note you will need to vacate the villa by 10.00 on your day of departure to allow the villa to be cleaned and the laundry washed/changed before the next guests arrive. Arrival either any time after 16.00 or by prior arrangment

Booking Notes:
£100/week deposit, balance payable 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. £200 security deposit to secure against loss or damage to the property or contents payable with final balance - refunded within 14 days of vacation of villa.
Baby equipment i.e. Travel cot, high chair can be hired locally at a rate of €15 per item per week. Our Agents in Spain can arrange this prior to your arrival if required.

Due to guests overusing the air conditioning units and in order to keep our rental rates competitive we have now installed coin operated meters on all 3 units. We will provide 8 hours or time on each unit at the start of your stay, thereafter you will need to insert 1 euro coins to build up time. 1 euro will provide 2 hours of running time, and the units will display the number of minutes accrued, and will count down as they are used.

Changeover Day:
Preferably Saturday but can be flexible depending on demand. We ask that you vacate the villa by 10.00 am and arrival time is after 4.00pm. However, depending on bookings, we will try and accommodate your flight times wherever possible

Notes on prices:
Prices for the property are per week in UK Pounds. Discounts available for last minute bookings (unless a special offer is already offered for the weeks in question). Price includes villa rental only based on self catering accommodation, extra charges are made for the departure clean and are paid on arrival to our Agent in Spain. You can request mid-stay villa cleans and laundry service with our Agents in Spain and the price will be negotiable with our Agents and payment made directly to them

To enable us to keep villa rental rates reasonable please use air conditioning sparingly and be sensible about keeping shutters closed against the sun. Please take time to read the villa information folder before using the pool and other facilities to make your stay enjoyable. Outside: The villa is surrounded by well tended almond and lemon trees and shrubs, along with a beautiful 8m x 4m pool. The pool has deliberately been built to only be from 0.9m to 1.5m deep, so not excessively deep deep-end so ideal for children and adults..We cannot accept any liability for its use. A gas BBQ is provided and a dining table with six chairs. There are six pool-side sun loungers with cushions.
