Description

Ty Alex Sleeps 4 (1 Bedroom)

Sleeps 4. 1 bedroom cottage. Ty Alex has a small, yet function-able kitchen. The living and dining area are great for a couple. The sofa is a double sofa bed, so it can accommodate 2 more people but it would be a bit of a squeeze. There is a TV and DVD player.

Upstairs is a double bedroom and a shower room with a toilet.

There is a small front garden to sit out and the rear garden is shared with the other cottage.

There is no internet access

About the property

FR23586

These 2 cottages have offered us wonderful holidays that we have shared with family and friend for a number of years. They are 2 Breton stone cottages that are ideal for a large family or 2 families to share. The garden is very user friendly for kids and there are a number of walks that are on your doorstep. In the larger cottage there is free view UK TV and in the smaller cottage there is a TV and DVD player. Both cottages have their own fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for both properties. Beautiful sandy beaches with great restaurants are 20 minutes drive. Lannion, a historic market town is only 20 minutes drive. The centre of Begard village is a 5-10 minute walk and has a couple of lovely restaurants and a brilliant park called Amoripark (www.armoripark.com) for the kids. It has a boating lake, fun rides and a swimming pool with slides, but nothing too commercial. Staying in either cottage will ensure you have a relaxing and family orientated holiday. Neither cottage has internet connection. We prefer to truly escape!

About Mark Leppard

Mark and Paulette have owned the 2 cottages for over 12 years and have used them only for family summer holidays with their 3 children. In fact, their daughter was born there while they were on holiday 10 years ago.

The reason for letting the properties is due to them both wishing to travel to other parts of the world with their children who are now teenagers.

The cottages are very much set up for families and all you need to do is unpack your bags and relax!

Mark Leppard purchased this cottage in 2002

Why Mark Leppard chose Guingamp area

We love Brittany as the landscape is beautiful and the beaches are all unique and wonderfully unpopulated.

We are 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village and yet it feels as though we are in our own world.

It is easy to get to anywhere, including forest walks and great beaches.

Lovely place

  • 5 of 5

Lovely place down the end of a lane not too far from the centre of the town.

Open fire really nice and all the wood is stored at the back. The hot water all comes from the boiler unit in the kitchen. All the pots /pans /cutlery and furniture appeared brand new and whole building very very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was no noise in the area, and the garden is nice but we didn't have anyone staying in the larger house which is next door.

The TV is not set up to the aerial but there is a dvd player connected to the tv which works fine and a selection of DVD's to choose from. we were there as a couple. And for the price, brilliant. Hertz hired a brand new car for the week from Dinard airport £150 for the week. A must is to visit are the rocks and coast at Ile Renote and Château de la Roche-Jagu.
