Sandpipers is a 150 year old ex-fisherman's cottage ideally situated in the heart of East Looe. It is arranged over 3 floors, set in a quiet traffic free lane and only metres from Looe's sandy beach, picturesque working fishing harbour and bustling promenade, with all the town's facilities on your doorstep. Sandpipers has been extensively refurbished, including a new kitchen and wet room, whilst keeping it’s original character. It has extensive living space within as well as outside seating on a planted, open courtyard and benefits from a free reserved parking space in the Millpool carpark nearby.
The stairs are a little steep, as are all ex-fishermans cottages in Looe, but may not suit less mobile guests.

Happy place

Looe is my happy place. The cottage was a standard fisherman's cottage and was clean, well kept and had all the things you need. Only down side is the stairs which even for able bodied people are difficult at times (carrying cups of tea) however that was advised so it is still a 5/5 from us.

Ideal location for both the beach and the town!

Well furnished cottage exceeded our needs for the week. Outside area was a blessing with the warm weather this week, ideal to watch the world go by with a favourite tipple!

Week away with hubby

Sandpipers is situated in a quiet back road of Looe.It is within easy walking distance of the beach and the lovely Salutation Inn. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with everything you need. As we are an older couple we did find the stairs slightly hard to navigate after a day of walking. Would lovecto return in the future.

Charmingly compact

Delightful, great location, an authentic tiny old fisherman’s cottage modernised with everything we needed, not suitable if you have any mobility issues, however we loved it.

Cozy Cottage

Like others we had difficulty finding luggage drop of point but was us not the instructions. Set over three floors everything was provided for our stay. Auto lights at top of each set of stairs really useful. Parking was easy to find and easy walk back through the town, approx 10mins. Location to town, restaurants, takeaway's and beach was ideal for our stay and once in the cottage was warm and cozy.

We have been coming to holiday in Cornwall ourselves for more years than we care to remember, initially in our younger years to surf on the North coast, although if surfing is your thing the South coast has plenty to offer with the rugged Whitsand Bay only a short drive along the coast.
We visit all year round & the beauty of Looe is...its open 365 days a year!!
