Apartment in Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol, Spain *Near the newly built Coastal Path* - Ideal Costa Del Sol Base, Near Many Beautiful Beaches, Lots of Great Restaurants and Golf Courses

Our home from home in Spain! A beautiful and very comfortable first floor apartment with stunning sea views (on a clear day you can see Africa). 2 bed, 2 bathroom (one en-suite). There are beaches, restaurants and golf courses in abundance in the area. The journey time from Malaga airport is 30 mins max and the flat is very accessible and easy to find. The gardens and grounds are very pretty and the 2 swimming pools (with sunbeds) on site have recently been refurbished. There is underground parking and storage and the development is fully gated and secure. The well established Miraflores Golf Course is a 5 minute walk away (we have golf clubs in our lock up). The apartment is very comfy and is air conditioned for those hot summer nights! Towels and bed linen is provided (you just need to bring beach towels). There are 2 supermarkets nearby and taxis are readily available should you decide not to hire a car. 20 mins walk down to the sea and our local "chiringuito" beach bar where the paella is legendary. Flat screen TV and wifi available. There is a safe and an alarm and we have property managers in Spain should you need them.

About the Owner

We have owned our property in Spain for 7 years now. We love the area, and especially the views from our balcony! It's in a great area from which to explore the Costa del Sol and beyond! We have been skiing in the Sierra Nevada Ski range, which is a 3 hour drive from the apartment. The apartment is on a safe, secure, friendly urbanisation and it is easily accessible. We hope you consider our home for your Spanish holiday!

Lovely apartment nice area

Stayed at joes appartment in july and it had everything you need for your stay very comfortable and well maintained in a nice apartment block very secure.veiws from the balcony were stunning , the nearest supermarket was about 20mins walk also resteraunts in the same place as the supermarket, golf course resteraunt 5mins walk very nice, bunkers bar 10 mins walk where you can also get food and quiz nights ect, a bit pricey for drink though.i would definitely go back but next time id hire a car as its very hilly and taxis are expensive.

very clean and in a fabulous location with great views

We loved the property. My parents also have the same apartment in a different block so we also knew exactly what to expect. Everything was in great working order and the views from the balcony were fabulous. It's in a great location, right next to the golf course and only a 5 min drive to the bottom of Riviera and the beach. Thoroughly recommend the property for a family looking to have a great base to explore the local area.

What a complete treat.

Firstly right from the start ,Jo the owner was very prompt in returning all my emails regarding the apartment, I felt like i could ask her any question without it being any trouble for her. She sent lots of information about the apartment,the area and the location, all of which lived up to our expectations! and was exactly as described on the website , The apartment was Spacious, Clean and very inviting. When we arrived i opened the french doors to a huge balcony area with the most stunning of views!! The apartment is in a very peaceful location with plenty of room around the pool area, we really didn't need for anything. We did hire a car as we wanted to visit the local areas but if you wanted to walk to miraflores it was only a gentle stroll away with views of the golf club and the sea. There were two other restaurants not far from the apartment up a steep hill which took us 10 mins to walk, The best by far was the pizzeria which served the freshest pasta dishes and the specials menus were to die for!! With a view of mijas in the distance. A must!! We ate at la plaza too which is in the square at the bottom of the hill at riviera.Check out trip advisor for pictures.

Mijas is a gem only 20 mins away and the views are stunning and the tapas just as wonderful.We also took a trip to the port of duquesta, totally amazing for food and people watching.The yachts are not that bad either!.

Keep up the great work Jo your apartment is a total home from home and we loved every minute of our stay.

We will be back and would recommend to friends and family.

Great holiday!

We had a wonderful time in Jo's apartment which lived up to the description - well equipped, quiet and relaxing. The apartment is close to numerous golf courses, restaurants and beaches. Our favourite part of the holiday was having drinks on the balcony watching the sun go down over the sea. A perfect way to relax! We will definitely be back.

Half Term delight

Our half term week with the kids was absolutely superb. Great location, (easy transfer from Malaga), perfect for the kids - fantastic swimming in the private pool and at the beaches nearby!! Loads to do and see along the coast and some hidden gems when we explored the mountain villages inland. Resturants abound along the coast to suit every taste - our favourite was a fab beachside fish resturant a short meander up the beach from Cabopino Port.

The apartment is beautifully appointed but still retains a real "home from home" feel to it... and waking up to those views every morning whilst enjoying a leisurely breakfast on the balcony!!

As a keen golfer I am already planning a return visit... as the local courses look stunning.

Can't recommend highly enough.

Spain at it's best

Myself, my sister and my daughter have just returned from a lovely week's break. We didn't fancy driving and wondered if we were going to struggle with the walking, but we found it pleasantly easy. It is a 15/20 min walk to the nearest supermarket and a bunch of restaurants of which we ate at 2, and they were excellent and very reasonably priced. To get to the beach is a little further probably 25/30 mins walk, but again very doable and we had the choice to get a taxi back if we wished as a rank is at the bottom of the hill. All the restaurants we ate in were of a very good standard, the area is kept immaculately clean. The apartment has the benefit of being right by a golf club which has a lovely terrace and offer lunch menus or evening. We ate there twice and the food was of a high standard, and very good value price wise. There is also live entertainment some nights and this is fab if you just want to walk 5 mins back after a few cocktails and a meal. The apartment had everything we needed. It was great to have 2 bathrooms and the large balcony has table and chairs for alfresco eating, we did cook a couple of nights and just enjoyed the view. The pool area was not over crowded and has very pleasant grounds. The whole area is very peaceful and relaxing, we were not bothered by any noise. The surrounding areas have much to offer. We took a taxi into Marbella and then got the bus back. The buses are very cheap. All in all this was a perfect break with blue skys everyday.

We love the Spanish lifestyle. Year round sunshine, fantastic beaches, golf courses, restaurants etc all very nearby. It is only a 30 min journey from Malaga airport, which has many flight options from the UK. We have friends and family who live nearby. The area is quiet and friendly.

1.6km downhill to beach. 20 mins walk, 5 mins by car. Lovely sandy beach with bars and restaurants. The whole of the Costa del Sol's beaches are easily accessible!

*The new Coastal Path,opened Nov 2014, runs from Riviera to La Cala. It's a stunning walk along the beach*


Nearest Airport - Malaga. 30 mins by car. Car hire recommended but not essential - taxis readily available.

Buses run both ways along the coast from the bottom of our hill into Marbella, Puerto Banus, Mijas, Cabopino, La Cala, Calahonda, Malaga etc.


Marbella 16km, Puerto Banus 20km, Cabopino 4km, the famous Nikki Beach Elviria 6km, Malaga approx. 30km.

Further Details:

Lots of supermarkets and shops in the area. Nearest supermarket 800 m.
