This is a wonderful 3 bedroom apartment from which to explore Pembrokeshire. Nelson Quay is a modern development right in the heart of Milford Marina.

Visitors to our second floor mezzanine self-catering apartment will enjoy spectacular views of the Milford Haven Waterways and Marina from the Juliet balcony. There is much to do in the local vicinity with restaurants, bars, art galleries, a nautical museum, beauticians, hair salon and gift shops within the Marina. Tesco supermarket is a few minutes’ walk away as is the local theatre/cinema. This is a no smoking and no pets’ property. Access to the apartment is up two flights of stairs.

This is a lovely apartment with great views across Milford Marina. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. We had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again.

Fantastic apartment in a lovely location

We stayed in this beautiful apartment with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter over the May Day weekend. From the minute you walk in you can tell that Angela takes great pride in her apartment. The beds were lovely and comfortable with nice linen on them, soft towels provided and for the ladies a must really powerful hair driers - not like the limp ones you can get in even the best hotels. There is nothing she hasn't thought of from tissues to proper sized wine glasses and plenty of everything. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch especially after four hours in the car - it was nice to have a warm drink and a welsh cake whilst unpacking. The apartment is in a wonderful position and the two nights we ate out in restaurants they were both in walking distance which is great not having to think about taxis. Have to recommend both Foam for the very friendly staff and lovely tapas and Martha's Vineyard for some wonderful steaks. I would recommend this apartment to anyone you will not be disappointed, thanks Angela for providing top notch accommodation it was a joy to stay in your fantastic apartment.

Beautifully relaxing

A very beautiful clean, and relaxing property. Had to have a couple of days indoors due to weather but the property made up for that. Picture waking up on a sunny morning, throwing open the patio doors and allowing the open sea air to enter the room. Well this property allows you to do just that. I cannot rave on about how lovely it was to be right on the marina overlooking all the boats and looking out to sea. Angela ( owner) kept in contact with me right up till the day we arrived and even a text a couple of days later to see how we were and if there was anything we needed. As this has been Angelas first year I think she has achieved something very wonderful with the property and as a person. I have already recommended this property to friends and I will definately be using Angela again. I do have a negative though. We had 3 children with us ranging from 11 to 15. Apart from the bowling Alley there is nothing for the kids to do unless you are driving. As for the adults there are plenty of restaurants on the marina to keep them happy. Once again Angela thankyou so much for allowing us to share your home.

Lovely apartment, nice and clean. Nice rooms. Beds comfy. Local area, nice places to eat in town and in the Harbour. Good location base for days out in and around Pembroke.

Almost perfect holiday accommodation

A good location for exploring Pembrokeshire, with great views of the quiet marina and estuary. Firstly, Angela was very professional and attentive - great communications throughout the process of booking and during our stay. Also, greatly appreciated a 'hamper' of goodies upon our arrival.

Plenty of free parking spaces outside the building. The apartment is on the top/2nd floor, with no lifts and 6 short flights of stairs. Not a problem for us, but should be mentioned. The apartment itself was spotless and the decor to our liking. Lots of facilities.

It's difficult to fault the apartment. A king-sized bed would have been nice, and it might be a good idea to swap one (or both) of the other double beds for bunk-beds... especially for families with 3 or 4 kids. We only had 2 kids, so not a problem for us. I'm sure if they were writing this review the kids would be asking for a few more toys and board games, and possibly an x-box (yes, they are that cheeky).

The only other improvement I can think of would be to enlarge the upstairs toilet to accommodate another shower.

The apartment is only a few small tweaks away from being absolutely top draw, in my opinion. Then again, I guess the prices would rise to reflect this.

Nearest Train : Milford Haven at 2 Kilometres

Special interest holidays:

For water-sports enthusiasts Dale, Newgale and Solva offer sailing, windsurfing and kayaking.

For birdwatchers there are the islands of Scomer, Skokholm and Ramsey to visit.

For walkers Milford is the mid-point of the renowned Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the Preseli Hills are also worth exploring.


The golden beaches, safe bathing and rock pools of Marloes, Broadhaven, Little Haven, Druidston and Whitesands are within easy reach by car.

The Cleddau Bridge (10 minutes away) is the gateway to South Pembrokeshire with the beaches and resorts of Freshwater, Tenby and Saundersfoot.

The railway station and but station are a 5 minute walk away.

Milford Haven is a two hour drive from the Severn Bridge. If travelling westward on the M4 or on the A40 follow the A40 to Haverfordwest. If you are coming from the north follow the A487 from Cardigan. Branch off left after Eglwyswrw on the B4329 to Haverfordwest. From Haverfordwest follow the signs for Milford Haven. For Sat Nav

Further Details:

Heritage sites such as St David’s Cathedral, Pembroke Castle and Bosherston are within easy reach by car.

Attractions and activities such as Oakwood Adventure Park, Folly Farm, Heatherton, The Blue Lagoon and TYF offer the opportunity for assessable day visits from Milford Haven and are within a 20 mile radius.
