Apartment in Valencia, Costa del Azahar, Spain

Bright and airy two bedroom apartment on a quiet street 100m from Mercado Russafa, and 10 minutes walk from Estacion del Norte. Also within 10 minutes walk are dozens of cafes and restaurants, from traditional to trendy, most with outdoor seating. The apartment is the entire top (4th) floor of the building (so there are no noisy neighbours) and gets lots of light and air with windows in every room including both bathrooms. There is a lift. The apartment is 86 sq. meters (925 sq. feet) and was completely refurbished in July 2014. There is a large (23 sq. meters) living room with dining area at one end, off which is a spacious well-equipped kitchen with all-new cabinets and appliances. There is a corridor to the bedrooms - one has a large double bed and the other has two single beds, and both bedrooms have a chest-of-drawers and large wardrobe. The sofa in the living room converts in seconds to a large double bed, so the apartment can comfortably sleep six people. There is a full bathroom with toilet, vanity, walk-in shower, clothes washer and lovely Spanish tile work. There is another half bathroom with toilet and vanity. There is gas central heating throughout for chilly nights in winter, and air conditioning in the living-room and first bedroom for warm days in summer. There is high speed fibre-optic wi-fi, and in the living-room, there is a 40" TV plus DVD player with five-speaker sound system. The apartment was completely renovated in 2014 and offered on the rental market for the first time in August 2014, so there are few reviews. Maybe you will add yours soon?

Parking: There is free street parking on my street and surrounding streets, but it's often hard to find a space. There is a public car park under the Mercado Russafa (two minutes’ walk from the flat); rate is hourly up to maximum €20 for 24 hours, or €7 per day if you buy a package of five entries.

Flat was beautifully clean and equipped with everything one needed. Antonio met us promptly and explained everything we needed to know. Lovely location in the heart of a great neighbourhood. Very pleased with everything and will visit again. Thanks for an easy and comfortable stay.

Fantastic vacation in a great city!

This was our first visit to Valencia and this flat was perfectly situated in the city! The people of Valencia are very friendly and welcoming. The Russafa area is the heart of the city with many wonderful eateries, evening entertainment and markets! You can walk to the City of Arts and Sciences and also walk to the historic part of.Valencia and train station! This flat has everything you could need for your stay and is very comfortable! I am definitely hoping to stay there again!

An enjoyable stay in Russafa

The flat is very comfortable and well equipped - the roof terrace a bonus. Extremely well located for local shops, restaurants and bus stops. The city centre is well within walking distance, plus it's easy to get to the beach for a walk along the sand and paella at one of the restaurants. No hesitation in recommending it for an enjoyable stay in Valencia's Russafa district.

Roomy, comfortable, well-equipped apartment in a super area

Just a great apartment in a great area. A block or so to the Russafa market, a fifteen minute walk to the Ciutat Vella, a pleasant half hour stroll to the magnificent Turia Park and Gardens, and any number of good restaurants right nearby. Well located for transit with easy bus connections to the beaches, the City of Arts and Sciences and pretty much anywhere one might want to go in the city. Valencia itself is a wonderful city, much less touristy than Barcelona, very walkable and perfectly safe-feeling, with some amazing architecture, and perhaps the best food in Spain. Highly recommended all around, and many thanks to Toby and his associate Antonio for making us feel right at home and appreciated.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location.

Lovely roomy apartment. Very clean and comfortable. It's in Russafa which is the old city. It's a 15 minute walk from the main shopping area.

It's in a nice area and there is a safe feel to the place. There are lots of restaurants within 2 minutes walk.

Booking and key collection worked very well and I would highly recommend this property.

Superb flat in great location.

A very comfortable, quiet and spacious flat in a great location, fully equipped with everything you need. The area of Russafa is vibrant without being noisy or overrun with tourists. A 20 minute walk takes you to the heart of the old town. An amazing food market is just around the corner, excellent cafes, bars etc nearby. Would recommend to friends. So much to see in Valencia but we especially enjoyed the amazing architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences.

Valencia's 3km long, wide, sandy, Playa Malvarosa is 25 minutes by bus or bike, or 50 minutes walk.


Valencia airport (VLC) is 15 minutes away by car or taxi; a bit longer by metro and walking. The flat is 10 minutes walk from Estacion del Norte and Xativa metro station. The nearest bus stop is on Calle Cadis or at the Mercado Russafa, about two minutes walk, with several bus lines heading in and out of the city centre.

There is a "Valenbisi" bike rental station 50m from the building entrance.


Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the centre of Valencia, is 15 minutes walk.

Further Details:

Russafa is a bustling area with dozens of cafes and restaurants, lots of shops and galleries, and the wonderful Mercado Russafa. There are two supermarkets within 3 minutes walk, open from 08.00 to 21.00, and several small local groceries and bakeries, some open until midnight.

The Palau de Musica (concert hall) is 20 minutes walk, and the amazing Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is 25 minutes walk, or 10 minutes by bus.
