Two bedroom apartment with stunning panoramic mountain views, south / south westerly facing aspect on 4th floor with a 3 minute walk to the Super Morzine lift and Morzine. Excellent location, ideally located for skiing, walking, cycling, MTB, restaurant's, shops and bars. The contemporary designed and furnished apartment sleeps 4/6 within 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed arrangement. En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 and a separate bathroom and separate wc.

The apartment benefits from a complete refurbishment programme which was completed in December 2014 in readiness for the new 2014/2015 ski season and the summer of 2015. The apartment is receiving high acclaim from all our guests since the refurbishment, for comfort, location and the high standard of finish, decor and design/layout. (see guest reviews) We are now getting repeat bookings from previous guests.

The apartment is located on the top floor of the apartment unit and is south / south west facing and therefore benefits from stunning views of the Pleney slope and in the distance the mountains of Roc d'Enfer.

The apartment has two bedrooms, the master bedroom is an en-suite with shower, wc and hand wash basin. There is a separate bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath, plus hand wash basin. There is a separate wc.

The living area comprises of an open plan kitchen dining area leading on to the lounge / living room. The kitchen is modern and well designed including electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a plentiful supply of kitchen utensils and crockery etc.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard to complement the surroundings that discerning guests will appreciate and feel comfortable in. A 'home from home' experience!

The living room enjoys great views through two large panoramic windows looking west and north west to Pleney and Montriond respectively. Great for watching the candlelit procession by the ski instructors each week and also the weekly fireworks display.

There are two balconies, one at the front and one at the rear. There is outdoor furniture / chairs available.

The apartment has a cave and a separate ski locker - enabling MTB's / cycles to be stored in summer months and ski equipment in winter season.

The apartment is very well located to enable guests to walk into Morzine within minutes via the Passerelle F. Baud bridge. The Super Morzine lift is literally a 5 minute walk from the apartment with all your ski gear on! There are bus stops for the free 'Navette' to the front and rear of the apartment taking you to either the Linderets Lift (for Chatel / Avoriaz / Suisse sector) or to Morzine for the Pleney lift.

For guests driving to Morzine, there is a private car park with the apartment unit.

There is a washing machine in the apartment. There is also a lift in the apartment unit.

The apartment is classified as 3 Star furnished accommodation by UDOTSI (Union Departmentale des Offices de Tourisme et Syndicats d'Initiative de Haute Savoie).

Shops and restaurant are within walking distance - with 5 to 10 minutes walk.

I live in North Wales with my wife & two teenage daughters & we have a pet Tibetan Terrier dog (Roxy), chickens & ducks and love the outdoor life.

We used to own our own landscaping business which we operated from our office some 5 minutes from home. We are now both 'retired' and spend time in France, Portugal and the UK (and other far flung places of the globe!!!).

We both love driving Audi cars (but currently I have an Jaguar F Type for a change!). We live in the countryside here in the UK & our house in the Algarve is in a similar type of country location.

We are a very active family & love skiing, walking, running, swimming, cycling, golf and the outdoor life.

We love living part of the year in France and enjoying the cuisine, culture, scenery, wine & joie de vie!!

The apartment really suits us as we can easily walk to shops, bars & restaurants within minutes.

Fabulous stay in a very well appointed apartment x

The listing was very accurate. The apartment was superb. Very well appointed & clean.

It is situated in a perfect location close to all amenities, with stunning views.

The owner was very helpful & friendly.

We particularly enjoyed going up the lifts to walk in the mountains. We also visited Lake Geneva, Yvoire, Mont Blanc with the Montenvers glacier - do book ahead on-line for Mont Blanc/Montenvers & arrive very early in the morning - it was stunning but lots of queuing involved.

I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends & family.

Totally recommend this property!

We have recently returned from a fantastic one week skiing holiday in this property. From the first enquiry to handing over the keys, the owners were extremely helpful with every query we had.

The property was in an excellent location, very clean, quiet and well maintained (recently refurbished to a high standard).

This must be one of the best locations in Morzine. Nicely decorated and perfect for a family of 4. a close walk to the center of town, yet still away from the noise. Once you are there there is no need for a car.

The owners have presented a very comfortable and well appointed apartment for us to enjoy. Conveniently placed to access either theMorzime or Avoriaz area and with fantastic views and sunny aspect it is close to supermarkets for provisions and also easy access to the town. A good place to stay and we will return.

Great apartment, great location, great host

I stayed here for three weeks and had a wonderful time. The whole process, from booking to the actual stay went very smoothly. Communication with Andrew and Tania was prompt, clear and warm. The apartment itself is very comfortable and relaxing to stay in. The position couldn't be better - right opposite the Supermorzine lift and the bus stop is just outside to get you to other lifts. It is a five minute amble to the centre of town, in a quieter, more residential part of Morzine. The cave was really useful for keeping my skis & boots in at the end of the day. I'd go back again anytime and really recommend it. Oh - and the balcony has a direct view out onto the weekly ski instructors'l torchlit descent and fireworks. Perfect.

Location

From the Owner

We had been skiing for many years in the French alps and eventually decided to buy a property in which we could use it, both for winter holidays and also to enjoy during the summer months. The check list of priorities also included close proximity to ski lifts; ability to walk into a decent town with shops, bars and a good selection of restaurants; sunny aspect (south/south west facing) quite location; close proximity to Geneva airport; good snow record and plenty of summer leisure / recreational activities. Where better than Morzine!! Oh, and a town that frequently achieves the presence of the Tour de France (Stage finish here in July 2016!!!) Well, Morzine ticks all the boxes and the apartment location is terrific - many customers report it as amazing, especially the views of Pleney!

Coast/Beach:

Lake Montriond is a 10 minute drive from the apartment and is ideal for swimming in summer months. A lifeguard is on duty during July & August and there are several lake side restaurants, pony rides, canoes for hire and flat lakeside walks as well as beautiful waterfall. The lake at Les Gets is also a 10 minute drive away which provides great lake swimming with life guard service in July & August. The beautiful Lake Geneva is less than an hour's drive away for swimming, boating and boat trips.

Travel:

Geneva Airport is a pleasant 75 minute drive via the motorway to Cluses and then to Taninges and Les Gets, or by Vallie Vert taking approximately 90 minutes.

Lyon/Grenoble Airport 2.5 hour drive.

Chambery Airport 2 hour drive.

Calais 8 hour drive.

Car hire recommended in summer for making the most of the area and activities. Transfers from Geneva Airport readily available in both winter and summer. Car hire not needed in winter. We can recommend local transfer companies if required.

Further Details:

The apartment is situated directly by the Passarelle bridge which crosses the Dranse river into Morzine and is only a 350 metre walk to the Super Morzine lift and less than 400 metres to the nearest restaurant (La Flamme). The main street of Morzine is within 450 metres and opens up a whole range of restaurants and bars, shops including local/regional products offering cheeses, honey, charcuterie, bakeries and much much more!! There are three supermarkets in Morzine and a larger Carrefour just 5 minutes' drive away in St Jean D'Aulps. There are banking facilities/ATM's within a 5 minute walk. The main leisure centre is a 3 minute walk away which includes two ice rinks, an indoor one which is open throughout the year and an outdoor one in winter in the village centre. There is a large open air heated 50m swimming pool with children's area which is open in the summer months and an indoor swimming pool. Outdoor sun bathing loungers are available within the neatly cared for garden area. There are plenty of activities on offer throughout winter and summer including skiing, walking, mountain biking (MTB), horse riding, 'Indiana Parc' tree-top rope course with zip wires, summer luge, paragliding, golfing, helicopter trips and sledging. See the official Morzine website for a full list of activities. Temperatures in the summer often reach 25 to 30 degrees and above. Morzine provides excellent MTB terrain for avid bikers with tremendous downhill biking from the extensive network of ski lifts provided during the summer months. (Check out the Multi-Pass tickets for summer use). In the winter, although cold, lunches are usually consumed outside the cafes soaking up the sun on south facing aspects.

We are flexible out of ski season regarding linen and cleaning, however there is a charge of 20 euro for guests carrying out cleaning themselves, to cover the cost of our agent checking the apartment before the next guests arrive. (We would not want a guest to arrive (including you!) and the apartment, not be the
the desired standard we all expect these days!)

The end of stay cleaning & provision of towels/linen through our agents in ski season is mandatory to avoid any inconvenience to new guests.

Small Dogs may be allowed. Please check with owner. A charge of £6.00 per night will be made. Dogs not to be left on their own in the apartment at anytime.

Taxe de Sejour is 75p per night / person aged over 18 and will be deducted from the refundable security deposit.

A very conveniently located apartment within Morzine with the ability to walk into town within several minutes, and to Super Morzine Lift which is only 350 metres away. Fully refurbished to a very high specification ready for December 2014, therefore the apartment is modern and very well furnished in complete contrast to many of the dour old 1970's and 1980's apartments on offer throughout the French alps. The apartment offers an en-suite bedroom with shower and wc; a separate wc and separate bathroom with bath/shower over and washing machine.
