We all remember and cherish the holidays where we stayed in family-run hotels or apartments where the personal touch prevailed.

Why Jason Farrugia chose Island of Malta

The block of apartments has been built only a few years ago. The penthouse has been furnished during this year so it is brand new. We fell in love with the penthouse because its set up and the sea views it offers from the terrace. Although it is situated in a residential area, it is very close to the promenade and the harbour , and all amenities are within a few minutes reach making it ideal to buy daily needs without wasting too much time. Parking spots are easily accessible in front of the property or in the vicinity. On the other hand it is very easy to get on the main routes to visit the island. Moreover Marsascala is an authentic village which has character. All this makes it ideal for our guests who are looking for a cultural and stress-free holiday.

What makes this apartment unique

The highlights of this penthouse are its comfortable set up and the terrace overlooking the horizon and the harbour. On the terrace, guests can enjoy a grill, a glass of wine, a good book or simply each other’s company. It provides a romantic atmosphere under the stars.

10 minutes on foot to Marsascala Bay and the 2-km promenade. St Thomas Bay is less than five minutes away by car or around thirty minutes on foot.

Travel:

Pick up and drop off service from and to Malta International Airport which is 9.3 km away is available (approx 15 minutes).

Although public transport is available and bus stop is only 3 minutes down the road, car hire for more independence can be arranged upon request.

Superbe location

Nous avons passé 11 nuits dans l'appartement de Jason rien ne manquait très bien situé tout à proximité commerces plages restaurants.

Jason est venu nous chercher et ramener à l'aéroport sans soucis et à même organiser la location d'une voiture Un éventuel séjour serait sans aucun doute dans ce logement.Merci Jason je nous avoir faciliter notre séjour.

Fantastic apartment with great sea/bay views

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and all facilities are to a very good standard. Air conditioning is a must at this time of the year and is very good during the night for sleep!

The balcony with the sea view is outstanding and to be honest this is where we spent most of our time when we were back at the apartment.

The only issue was that their was no outside light at the main entrance, minor.

Restaurants in the area were 50-50 good to fair/poor, and we ate out for the 2 weeks of our stay and to be fair depends on your tastes. Good value for money. Public transport is good and bus cards can be purchased in main centre.

The pick up/drop off to airport is great and Jason is a very good host.

A good place for a couple to holiday.

Fantastic apartment

We stayed in the apartment for a week and the time flew in.

Jason could not have been more helpful. He met us at the airport and despite an early departure took us back there. He took time to show us around the apartment and also arranged a hire car which arrived within minutes of our arrival at the apartment. He also sent an e-mail after a day or two to check that everything was O.K. and I'm sure it wasn't an empty enquiry.

If you like the look of the apartment from the pictures you will love it when you get there. It seemed bigger in reality than the pictures showed! It is well equipped and all the extras like towels (plenty supplied) and bed linen are of good quality.

The outside space is fantastic and the main balcony is huge. Being the highest apartment in the immediate area means that views over the harbour and out to sea are great and there seems to always be a cooling breeze. It is indeed aptly named Horizon View! The sun is on the balcony from sunrise and when it becomes shaded in late afternoon the sun is on the rear balcony.

Within a day of arrival we were already referring to the apartment as 'home'.

Marsacala is a lovely laid back type of a place and has everything needed for a relaxed break. If you want a lively 'party' type holiday then the more conventional tourist destinations may be a better bet.

I have no hesitation in recommending this penthouse and would not consider staying anywhere else in Malta.

Great location

Great stay. Apartment has everything you need. In a great location just a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants. Good convenience shop on the corner. Jason is very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this apartment which is in a good location away from the North of the island which is tourist central and not the real Malta.

Great apartment in great location

Very clean and comfortable. Ideal location in a residential street within walking distance to the bay in Marsascala. Convenience shop just around the corner with sufficient stocks for your stay. Bus stop on the main road 1 min walk away. The owner Jason is very helpful and anything you need hes there to help. A car isn't essential as the buses are very regular and you can get passes but it depends on what you want to do and see. There are areas if you want to visit then you'll need to get 2 buses but overall going by bus may take longer but at least you get to see the island and your not stressing in a car watching for the other drivers who use the roads as they please.
