Apartment in Marsascala, Malta, Malta-Gozo - Peaceful Location But Very Close To All Amenities And The Promenade

It comprises a fully equipped kitchen and features a 42" LCD TV with cable channels. It offers a large terrace with sea view including BBQ and outdoor furniture. There is also a balcony overlooking Marsascala bay. It has Wifi access and is air conditioned. A washing machine and ironing facilities are also available. A bus stop is a few meters away from the penthouse. Parking in the street is available. A mini market, pharmacy, butcher and fish shop are all within one to three minutes’ walk from the property. The penthouse is also minutes walk away from Marsascala Bay and the 2-km promenade. St Thomas Bay is less than five minutes away by car or around thirty minutes on foot. Pick up and drop off service from and to Malta International Airport which is 9.3 km away is available (approx 15 minutes). On request, car hire can also be arranged.

We stayed at the horizon view penthouse early September this year for our wedding anniversary,

I could wax lyrical about the service Jason provides, the apartment, the area, all the little things Jason provides on your arrival but I wont, as people already have.

Put simply

Did the apartment meet expectation? SURPASSED

Would I recommend apartment to friends relatives? ALL READY HAVE

Would I return to horizon view again? IN THE PROCESS OF BOOKING

Is there any reason for complaint/dissatisfaction? NO other than having to leave!

Fantastic holiday in a stunning apartment

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Horizon view penthouse apartment in Marsaskala Malta.

Communication between ourselves and Jason prior to the trip was outstanding and he kindly offered to collect us from the airport.

Instructions on where he would be waiting for us were very clear and Jason was already there so we were on our way to the penthouse within 15 minutes of landing.

The apartment was amazing and Jason gave good instructions on how everything worked.

There was a very much appreciated welcome pack of water, nibbles, cheese and coffee etc.

We had traveled with only hand luggage so were delighted to find beach towels that Jason said we were very welcome to use.

There were also little extras such as aftersun and shower gel in a dispenser in the bathroom.

The apartment is very modern and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need with pans of a good quality.

The views from the large comfortable balcony were stunning and this is where we spent most of our evenings making use of the gas BBQ .

The bed was very comfortable, linen and towels were also of very good quality.

There is a convenience store less than a minutes walk away , a butchers and fishmongers only a little further.

For those who prefer convenience there is also a frozen food store nearby so filling the full size freezer would not be a problem.

We can not think of anything negative to say about the apartment or the service provided by Jason and we will be returning for a longer stay in the future

Couldn't have asked for better!

Stayed at this apartment in June this year for a week. The location is great, set in a fishing village that had few tourists in it, the bus stop was a 30 second walk from the apartment meaning we could easily travel and explore Malta without the need of a car. The balcony was perfect for evening meals with an incredible view of the harbour and sea. The restaurants around Marsascala are a short walk away with lots of different options depending on what you fancy. The brochures, leaflets and guidebook that Jason left us were really useful as we hadn't visited Malta before so didn't know a lot about the island. The ease of being picked up from the airport was ideal and we thoroughly recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a good experience of the quieter side of Malta.

Five stars not enough, deserves more.

Stayed for 1 week with my wife. Can not praise this apartment enough, if you think it looks good in the pictures it's even better in reality. Clean, comfortable, with everything you could need and a whole lot more as well. The rear balcony would have been ample, the huge one at the front served as our breakfast room and evening chill out room and was big enough to have held a party in on it's own.

Jason very friendly and helpful, giving us a quick run through on how everything worked and advice on places to visit.

Location wise it's very good, just far enough out of the village centre (5 minute walk) to be away from the bustle, but close enough that it's all within walking distance. iF you need groceries there is shop literally 50yards from the door. Plenty of choice of bars and restaurants within walking distance, and was well impressed by the value for money everywhere we ate/drank locally.

If I was forced to find a negative, parking (we hired a car for the week) is on street and pot luck where you find a space, but even then we never had to park more than a minutes walk away. Speaking of which we hire a car every holiday out of preference, but not only does the apartment have bus stops very close by, everywhere we visited was also served by the excellent bus service so a car certainly isn't necessary.

All in all an excellent stay, my only regret was Jason's refusal to let us take the apartment home with us. :)

Ready to enjoy the Penthouse and its views

We (2 adults) stayed at the Horizon View Penthouse (HVP) for 5 weeks from April 12 to May 18, 2016.

In the time leading up to arrival in Malta and during our stay, Jason, the owner, replied promptly, and resolved any questions we had with courtesy. As noted in the property description, he provided safe and complimentary transfers to and from the airport.

Wherever we vacation, accommodation is very important. The HVP location was a real plus for us, too. Jason impressed us by his follow-up ensuring that his place was maintained in excellent condition.

The HVP facilities and information were exactly as noted on the internet photos and descriptions. The advertised photos are accurate. Wireless internet worked well. Kitchen utensils, appliances and washing machine etc. were of good quality and quantity. Towels and linens were high quality and exchanged regularly. Lots of hot water with good pressure, too.

Access to Malta busses was less than 100 meters down the street from the front door. As well, there is a grocery store even closer, just around the corner. A butcher shop and fish store were a few minutes away, too. The warm sunshine and breezes were part of the excellent views from the HVP 3 balconies. A walk to the Marsascala harbour promenade and eateries was a comfortable 10-15 minute walk from the HVP. Local church bells added to the enjoyable environment of Marsascala.

Horizon View Penthouse exceeded our expectations. We would stay there for a return visit to Malta and recommend Jason and Horizon View Penthouse very highly.

Excellent stay!

We stayed 3 nights at Jason´s apartment.

He is a very friendly and helpful host and communication was always easy.

The apartment itself is spacious, very clean, well equipped, stylish and offers great views from either terrace or balcony.

Everything you would need is close to it: grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, bus stops, promenade or beach.

Marsaskala is a nice harbour village and turned out to be a very good base to explore the south of Malta.

We had an excellent stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you Jason for being a great host!

Location

The block of apartments has been built only a few years ago. The penthouse has been furnished during this year so it is brand new. We fell in love with the penthouse because its set up and the sea views it offers from the terrace. Although it is situated in a residential area, it is very close to the promenade and the harbour , and all amenities are within a few minutes reach making it ideal to buy daily needs without wasting too much time. Parking spots are easily accessible in front of the property or in the vicinity. On the other hand it is very easy to get on the main routes to visit the island. Moreover Marsascala is an authentic village which has character. All this makes it ideal for our guests who are looking for a cultural and stress-free holiday.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

10 minutes on foot to Marsascala Bay and the 2-km promenade. St Thomas Bay is less than five minutes away by car or around thirty minutes on foot.

Travel:

Pick up and drop off service from and to Malta International Airport which is 9.3 km away is available (approx 15 minutes).

Although public transport is available and bus stop is only 3 minutes down the road, car hire for more independence can be arranged upon request.

Further Details:

A mini market, pharmacy, butcher and fish shop are all within 1 - 3 minutes’ walk from the property.
