A four storey Victorian School House, originally built by the Symington family, later becoming incorporated into Beechen Cliff School, constructed of dressed bath stone under a slate roof. It has a baronial entrance hall with flagstone floor, and a wide stone staircase leading to the first floor landing. There is a paved and planted driveway providing off-street parking behind original wrought iron gates. The house is situated on the Wells Road as it rises gently from the City centre providing it with a spectacular view of The Royal Crescent across the City
