|Minimum Stay||4 - 7 nights|
A very comfortable renovated studio with wood floors, comprising kitchen area, living area, bathroom and a bedroom area. Fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, fondu, raclette and expresso machines. Located next door to a two bedroom/2 bathroom apartment belonging to the same owner.
Ideally located less than 5 minutes on foot to the Bahnhofstrasse and the village, the train station, as well as the Sunnegga and Gornergrat departure stations. Also at proximity the bus for the MatterhornExpress from where you can access Italy. From the living room and the balcony you have an amazing view of the Matterhorn. The bedrooms both have twin beds which can be made up as doubles, and one has an en suite. A second balcony gives off the kitchen.
I have been going to Zermatt for over 20 years and have definitely fallen under its spell. The mighty Matterhorn towering above the little village can leave no one indifferent. I bought my first property in 1994 and this is where I live now, when I'm not in Geneva. My hometown was Wimbledon and I still return there on the special occasion that takes place at the end of June/beginning of July.
Ann purchased this apartment in 2001
I bought the Imperial property in 2001 and then proceeded to renovate it into an apartment I would have liked to have rented myself: two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, close to the village and everything else. Later I added the studio which is next door with the idea that it would be nice for people to have a nanny or a granny close by, but not necessarily too close.
Everyone who has stayed in this property raves about it. Skiing in general is very hectic, and the logistics of getting to Zermatt are somewhat complicated...but oh so worth it. The proximity of this accommodation to everything important really helps to hit the snow running...and then keep running all week. The visitors book is a joy to read.

This apartment was perfect for my boyfriend and I. Walking distance to the Sunegga lift and the ski bus. Also very close to down town bars, restaurants, etc. Ann was helpful, she greeted us upon arrival with some great suggrations of activities and restaurants. Zermatt was amazing and can't wait to go back again!
Property has excellent location, just few minutes walk to Gornegrat station ski lift. Apartment has nice view on Matterhorn, The owner is very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed and would reccomend it for friends as a ski holidays apartment.
This was our first stay in Zermatt, and this studio helped make it an amazing trip! Ann was very helpful, giving advice on where the best snow was to go skiing and where to go to eat, gave us a bottle of wine on arriving, and gave us an adapter for our phone chargers! She has a folder in the apartment that gives tips on places to go downtown and told us that we needed to make dinner reservations (very helpful!) The studio is only a block away from the train station, two different grocery stores, and the main downtown area of Zermatt. You could also walk a couple blocks to the Sunnegga lift or walk half a block to the bus stop which will take you to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise lift for free. There's a ski room in the building so you don't have to bring all your wet gear into the room. Nice and quiet area, the studio is only a few steps up from the main entrance which made it very convenient not having to climb several floors after a long ski day. We loved waking up and being able to see the Matterhorn from our breakfast table. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Zermatt!
We had a fabulous vacation stay. The views of the Matterhorn were stunning at all the different times of day. Admitted at the train and escorted us to the apartment where she pointed out all of the points of interest. I would highly recommend a stay at Ann's place.
It was a two minute walk to the train station, grocery store and Gongeret ski train. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything you needed for a ski trip. Can't wait to return!
In June 2015 I had the chance to visit Zermatt. I rented a studio, which ended up to be the perfect place for this trip.
The studio is conveniently located near the train station, the main street, the coop and the train that goes to Gornergrat.
The place is perfect for a person or two. You find everything you need, lots of room for storage (I was there for a week), things to cook, coffee maker... And the balcony offers a view on the Matterhorn, a view that you won't forget.
The owner, Ann, was very kind. She gave me advice regarding the train between Geneva and Zermatt, answered all my questions and reacted really quickly when I had an issue with Internet. She made things easy for me.
I would highly recommend this studio to my friends and family. For the location, the cleanliness, the convenience and the owner. If I had to go to Zermatt again, I would rent this place.
