We'll be back!

Arrived to be greeted with a warm welcome and a cream tea. The cottage is absolutely lovely. I think the best review I could give, is to say that when we come back to Cornwall in the future, this is where we'd stay.

Great location, home-from-home comforts - perfect!

  • 5 of 5

8 adults and an 18 month old – not easy to find the perfect holiday destination but Honeysuckle Cottage ticked all of the boxes. Large spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and the genius idea to colour-code the towels for each room so no mix ups! Nicky and Mark are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble and the location – close enough to Newquay to enjoy the beach, but far enough to be away from the crowds depending on the mood!

Fabulous stay in Honeysuckle Cottage lovely place

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was very spacious and clean, the rooms were well maintained and to a high standard, beds were very comfortable. The kitchen contained everything you could need with a washing machine and drier. The cottage was set in a lovely bitofcountrysidr and it was lovely sitting out I the garden. We went as a family group and there were 7 of us which meant taking 2 cars there was 2 car parking spaces allocated which was great. It was an excellent satay enjoyed by the whole family I would recommend this place and will be returning next year.

Perfect family cottage

  • 5 of 5

Honeysuckle cottage is spacious and well equipped in a quiet rural location with lovely views of the countryside. This is our second year staying at honeysuckle cottage and it is perfect for our family of 5 but you could easily add 3 more people and still have loads of living space. There is a well equiped kitchen, comfortable beds and a powerful shower. The owners Mark and Nicky are very welcoming and the yummy cream tea they left for us on our arrival marked the start of our holiday. The location is ideal for exploring cornwall and it was a pleasure to come back to the cottage in the evening. We are looking forward to our stay next year.

The great escape, away from everything.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with our 2 children aged 10 and 12 for around 6 days. The house is perfect, very spacious, excellent decor, and spotlessly clean and tidy. Nicky and Mark are excellent host's with a wealth on knowledge of the local area.

Lots of nice walks nearby and Newquay only a short drive away with some excellent beeches, restaurants and scenery. Will definitely be back soon..:)

cornish countryside living at its best

  • 5 of 5

From the first felt very welcome with very much needed concise directions to the property. Located in a beautiful part of the cornish countryside we found our hosts waiting with a warm greeting to show us around discovering scones and cornish clotted cream in the kitchen. This accommodation is very clean and spacious plenty of room as a family with teenagers to have their own space. Light and fresh but can be equally warm and cosy when the nedd arose. The garden with table and chairs very well maintained and gets lots of sun very enjoyable with a cuppa in the morning or drinks of an evening . Nearby is Newquay within easy driving distance with a large supermarket for any needs you might have with also plenty of eating out places. Our favourite haunt though was onle a couple of miles from the property, well before Newquay called The Two Clomes very good food. Well done Nicky and Mark and thanks for having us.
