Home from home! Extremely well equipped and comfortable. Excellent informative information on both the cottage and the surrounding areas. Loved the fact that there were games, books, dvd's etc. to keep you entertained on a rainy day
We had a fabulous week! We went to relax and read with the odd stroll. It was perfect. The cottage was very well presented and extremely welcoming. It was a chilly week in January but with log burner and the heating it was very toasty! We found the locals friendly and chatty, making us feel very welcome! Thank you to everyone - Ivan for such a beautiful cottage and being extremely prompt to emails and the wonderful people of Bradwell.
My husband loved the magic mirror in the bathroom!
Perfect cottage for exploring the Dales or just resting and relaxing. The cottage is cosy yet spacious with everything you need. The decor is lovely throughout and has been well thought out and maintained.
Good local pubs and takeaways, which is handy after a days walking. There is a COOP in the village for essentials. We will most certainly come back and stay!
The property is very convenient for local hikes and tourist destinations like Chatsworth House. And the (very) local pub is friendly and serves hearty food. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped with new appliances. The house size was fine for the two of us, but I suspect four people may feel crowded.
We had a lovely week at Cherry Tree Cottage. It was in a great location for exploring Bakewell, Buxton, Padley Gorge, Mam Tor, Matlock and more besides. The Cottage was in a quiet area, cosy and comfortable although the bathroom was a little tight! The pub next door gave us a hearty meal, The Bakehouse in Bradwell provided a delicious breakfast and the Chippy was nice.
We stayed here for a week over New Year and had a great time. The cottage was clean and warm - the log burner was a nice touch. The local pub was very friendly and served good real ale and tasty food (and was only 50 yards away). There's plenty to do in the area and we would come back.
What can I say. The cottage has everything you need. The village served by fantastic friendly pubs serving great food and very friendly helpful locals. Fantastic location for walking & driving to Bakewell etc. Ivan Trevor was very quick with responses to emails. Have had a brilliant Christmas.
