Let me start with the bad news; you will have to leave this amazing villa at the end of you trip. From the moment you enter the gates you are immersed in the most idyllic Cote D'Azur setting. With Grimaud as a backdrop dinners outside and drinks by the pool become magical. Mark is quite simply the best host who is there if you need him and available at a moments notice. He is quick to provide history or a suggested dinning spot and even better to run into in town and enjoy a glass of rose with him. The villa is almost to good to describe. The views of Grimaud out of all of the windows seems almost like a movie set. The decor is elegantly chic providing all the essential amenities one could want or need. The entire hose is roomy and opens out to a variety of terraces to enjoy wine and cheese. There were nine of us and never once did finding privacy become an issue. One of the greatest perks is the 7 minute morning walk into town to the Pâtisseries to get breakfast treats for the house. Simply amazing. The restaurants in town are great as well as the shops and amazing history. Our first night at Le Clem became our local watering hole however there are many others to choose. The towns of St. Tropez & Port Grimaud are a quick trip, so to are the beaches of Pampelonne & Ramatuelle which are a must to visit. I recommend reserving a spot at one of the many beach clubs. I worry about writing such a glowing review of this spot for fear it won't be available for our next return. However, Mark and his magnificent home deserve highest accolades. We look forward to returning soon!!!

Amazing luxurious villa

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the villa was everything we hoped. The villa itself is beautifully appointed and furnished. The interior is spacious and modern yet completely comfortable with a number of different and separate areas for sitting, lounging or dining. The kitchen has everything one would need and more: more than enough crockery and cutlery and glasswear. The TV and sound systems are superb and having a number of TVs was an advantage as we were a two family group with children of varying ages from 11 to 18. The bedrooms and bathrooms are extremely comfortable and scrupulously clean.

The outside garden area is extensive and gorgeously green and lush and there are (as with the inside) a number of different areas to sit, both in the sunshine and in the shade. The pool is lovely and the pool furniture very comfortable. The views from the villa are fantastic giving a sense of openness and quiet isolation. Although there are other villas quite close by, it is not possible to see them from the villa itself and the view across to the village of Grimaud with its castle is beautiful. The location of the villa is also a huge advantage. It is a short walk to the lovely village of Grimaud which has a number of bars and restaurants and it is only a short drive to the small towns of Cogolin and Port Grimaud.

Everything about the villa is carefully planned and considered. It is a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful house and perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 9 days with our family - 12 in total. Four children aged 7 months to 8 years old. The house was perfect for us all. Immaculate and very comfortable. Ideal location with stunning view of Grimaud and 10 minutes walk to the village. The owner was extremely helpful and it was altogether an ideal place for a holiday.

bliss

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 stayed for a week in August. Despite it's convenient location, all of our carefully made plans to explore the region and coastline went out of the window as we realxed in and around the villa, gardens and pool. All in pristine condition and exuding quality. Kids loved the pool diving board. The daily maid service was a nice touch. A short walk to Grimaud with it's morning boulangerie and lunhctime/evening restaurants made for an easy existence. Mark, the owner, could not have been more helpful. A great time had by all, many thanks.

Summer in Grimaud

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this amazing villa for one week - we had 2 weeks prior in St Tropez in a far inferior property so this was absolute bliss and the best way to finish off our holiday.

The property is in pristine condition throughout and the decor is beautiful. It really is as lovely as it looks here. The Owner was incredibly helpful and made the lease signing etc.. as easy as possible which took away any anxiety as were a large group.

It's a 2 minute walk to Grimaud Village which is unique and charming and boasts some great restaurants and bars. We ate 2 nights in "Fleur de Sel" which says it all, and had drinks in the wine bar "Enoteca" each evening. The market on Thursday is not to be missed. It was a pleasure to walk off our excesses each morning, of course stopping off for croissants in the divine boulangerie...

It's a short drive to St. Tropez and the beaches in Ramatuelle, so all in all, it has the best of both worlds.

I would highly recommend this villa and we will definitely return. Absolutely loved it - thank you!
