Set over three floors and recently refurbished, Mrs Tiggywinkles is light and airy and presented in neutral shades with splashes of accent colours throughout. The apartment is perfect for couples as it has two bedrooms one double and one twin. The property enjoys distant views of the surrounding fell ranges. First floor: Property has a new Nevo Rointe electric central heating system, double glazing and comprises: Lounge/Diner: With contemporary furnishings, TV and DVD. Kitchen: With gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dish washer and microwave. Bathroom: With Heritage suite comprising shower over bath, WC and wash basin. Second floor: Bedroom 1: With double bed and en suite with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Bedroom 2 : with twin beds . Facilities: All fuel, bed linen included. Hello I bought Mrs Tiggy's 3 years ago and having been running it as a holiday let. I live in Windermere so I am close enough to manage and clean the property myself. I pride myself on cleanliness and also creating a home from home experience.

Why Joanne Bell chose England

Mrs Tiggywinkles really benefits form being in Windermere as it central and has both train and bus station within walking distance. Also you can walk to Bowness and jump on a ferry and this will take you on Lake Windermere. There are great restaurants on your doorstep and our local supermarket Booths. It is set back away from the main street so has little noise, yet within a stones throw away from the town centre. Mrs Tiggy's has private parking for one car.

What makes this apartment unique

The property benefits from private parking, also being so close to the train station you could leave your car at home. It is bright and modern with all the benefits of being home from home. The best thing about this property is your ability to walk from your front door to find lovely walks,

restaurants, local shops, and all the other benefits that come with being in a Great Location!!!

Really well laid out and thought out apartment. Great facilities. Only 2 of us. Heating was beautifully flexible. Lots of useful notes around the place. We just loved it - perfect for a very wet weekend in the Lakes!

Stunning! Top class accommodation.

One of the best self-catering properties we have stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot! It is clear that much thought and care has gone into the design of this beautiful home. It was clean, cosy, comfortable, had every amenity. Excellent location as well. Views from windows are stunning. Easy parking. Lovely welcoming touch of a host of golden daffodils. Thank you to the owner. We highly recommend Mrs Tiggywinkles.

What an absolute delightful cottage, everything we needed and more. Perfect!!

Very comfortable, on arrival we were greeted with a gift tray which included a lovely lemon cake. Really made us feel at home, what a generous and thoughtful gift. The cottage is modern and decorated to a high spec adding to the relaxed feel.

Quality accommodation in a fantastic location

Mrs Tiggywinkes is in a fantastic location in the centre if Windermere with all the restaurants bars and shops on the doorstep

On first entering we felt at home it has a wonderful modern lounge with fell views on the distance and it was warm and cosy with the lamps on we were settled in seconds

The bathroom and kitchen have everything you want and need and the main bedroom has a small ensuite

The word quality does not do Mrs Tiggywinkes justice above and way beyond our expectations and we will certainly be returning

Joanne the owner is lovely and all our questions before we went were answered and on meeting her on our departure all I can say it was a pleasure to meet and stay at her wonderful property a massive thank you
