Casa Carra is a modern 3 double bedroom villa comprising 2 double and 1 twin of which the 2 double are fitted with air-conditioning. It is finished and furnished to a high standard making it appealing to both couples and families.

The villas terrace area benefits from all day sun with its private electric/solar panel heated pool and sun-lounge area, built in BBQ and roofed alfresco dining area.

Situated in a peaceful area just a short walk from the main town of Playa Blanca with its sandy beach, local restaurants, bars and shops. There is a handy well stocked local mini-market just behind the complex.

The complex of Las Buganvillas has its own tennis courts.

About Christine

We live in Scotland with our 4 children and grandchildren.

We have enjoyed holidaying in different countries but decided to make Playa Blanca the place for our "Place in the Sun".

Why Christine chose Playa Blanca - Yaiza

We have always found Playa Blanca to be suitable as a holiday destination with fantastic facilities in the area for families and couples alike. It is a comfortable resort with a friendly atmosphere where you can either chill out or be a bit more adventurous.

There are some beautiful beaches and in addition to the town centre the marina boasts a great range of shops and restaurants. There really is something to suit everyone here. Activities to choose from include the beaches, Timanfaya, day trip to Fuerteventura, waterparks, camel rides, water sports, cycling and many more.

Away from the hustle and bustle but near enough if you want it, this is an ideal location to enjoy and explore from.

The area is easily accessible with Arreciffe airport less than an hours drive away.

What makes this villa unique

The property is an easy 20 minutes walk from the town centre with its shops, bars and wide variety restaurants which suit all tastes and budgets.

Notes on accommodation: Please note that this is a NO SMOKING villa. There are 2 hairdryers in the villa Outside: Private Solar Panel heated Pool (pool dimensions 6.5m x 3.5m: Depths (water level) - 1.2 at shallow end to 1.5 at deep end. Hand-rail on Roman steps to assist entering and exiting the pool. BBQ Sun lounging area with 6 sun-loungers, parasol and side tables. Utility Room: The bright utility area is open plan to the kitchen with a door leading to the patio area and pool. Equipment includes:- washing machine (with 15 min cycle), iron and board, clothes airer Services: Bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. Casa Carra Lanzarote

We stayed in Cassa Cara for a week in February 2017. There was my husband and two daughters (ages 14 and 5) and my elderly father. From the moment we booked Christina kept in touch right up until the day we arrived providing lots of info about the villa and even where to buy a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday. The villa was in a lovely location and it was spotless. It was every well equipped in every room and the kitchen had everything we could possibly require. There were even two hairdryers and a pair of hair straighteners. Christine has thought of everything. The outside sitting area was lovely and plenty of seating on the patio and around the pool. We found a little bakery called Le Moka Patisserie (Calle Irelande) who baked the most fabulous chocolate nutella cake for our daughter's birthday.This was our first visit to Lanzarote and we hope to come back again especially to Casa Carra. Thank you Christine!

Excellent

Bit late in writing this review. Stayed for a week in March. Christine was extremely helpful from the minute I contacted her and also when I contacted her when we were at the villa. When we arrived the villa was still being cleaned but we were welcomed to sit on the patio whilst it was finished. Was spotless clean with everything you would need in the kitchen and also plenty of towels. Was about 15-20 mins walk into Playa Blance and we took taxi back, about 4 euros. Would love to return to this beautiful villa.

Very clean, well equipped, comfortable villa, the photos shows exactly what can you expect.Heated pool, temperature over 30 degrees, our kids loved it. We will definetly recommend it to our friends.

Superb Villa in good location

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Casa Carra and it was amazing. The villa was very clean and really well equipped/maintained. There was everything you needed for a very comfortable stay, definitely a home from home (Our 2 teenage children loved the fact they had WIFI whenever they wanted it and the lovely pool was a huge bonus). The air con in the main living room and the 2 double bedrooms was a lifesaver, the smaller twin room didn't have air con but would definitely benefit from it as our 2 children really struggled with heat, especially at night when we didn't want to leave the window open. The complex itself was quiet, well maintained and in a good location with amazing views of the mountains and about 15-20 min walk into the town. We stayed by the pool most days using the small supermarket across the road from the complex for fresh bread/rolls for lunch and then went out in the evenings to sample some of the restaurants recommended by Christine the owner and previous guests. We went to the local market and shops at the Rubicon Marina and also took advantage of some of the water sports available at the beach nearby which was great fun. Christine was a pleasure to deal with right from the time of enquiry through to our return from holiday. Not only that, Mandy, the lady who looks after the property for Christine was very helpful and was on hand to help me when I locked myself out - I'd have been lost without her.

Overall we had a brilliant holiday and enjoyed every minute of our stay at Casa Carra. We will definitely recommend the villa to our family and friends and would also love to return again next summer.

Having wifi in the villa was a must for our own family too. It seems that you made the most of your holiday, restaurants, stroll into town and also small local supermarket across from complex. The villa visitors book provides a good insight into where other guest enjoyed dining and doing different activities which are on offer in the area. Outstanding

This was our second holiday at Casa Carra and this time we stayed for three weeks.

From the start Christine, the owner, makes the whole booking process very easy and provides lots of information. Who needs a travel agent!!!

Life being life, we had a couple of minor issues and a quick text to Christine (international rescue) and she had them resolved, you can't ask for more.

The villa has everything you need and more and the villa is located on a nice quiet estate of similar villas. The wifi is obviously a big plus.

We enjoyed many evenings cooking on the BBQ and enjoying a few beers round the pool.

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this villa and will certainly be back for a third holiday.

We found the nicer places to eat were more in the Marina end of Playa Blanca and you tended to get better value there. If you want to go shopping for food we found it better and cheaper going to Eurospar which does great fish and fresh meats for the BBQ (on the main road just before the Porto Del Carman turn) or cheaper still there is now a Lidl at Porto Del Carman.

We also booked a hire car with AutoReisen and we have used them before. Firstly, they seem to be one of the cheapest and their quote includes all the insurances (so if you have an accident there is no excess to pay) and secondly our car did break down (flat battery) and within 60 minutes they arrives with another vehicle and took the other away.

Fees No additional mandatory fees

Booking Notes:
Minimum Prices quoted are for 4 guests with an additional charge of £15 per night per person.
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the booking if over 8 weeks prior to holiday the period. This is non refundable in the event of cancellation.
Departures within 8 weeks of booking are required to pay the full balance and damage deposit at time of booking.
Payment accepted via Bank Transfer (preferred) or via PayPal. PayPal transactions incur a 3.4% fee per transaction.
Cancellations within the 8 week period will render the total amount non refundable.
Rental rates include all local taxes and utility bills.

Change over day is flexible. Where possible we try to accommodate requests for later entry/departure times


Additional cleaning, bedding - towel change can be arranged locally at guests additional cost to be paid locally.

Shorter rental durations will be considered in the event of a calendar blank of less than 7 days.
