The apartment is located in an excellent position within the golf resort of La Torre. Close to the centre of the resort and a short walk from bars, restaurants and a supermarket. The apartment overlooks the three swimming pools, including a children's pool, making this the ideal holiday for families, couples or groups of friends or golfers. The apartment facilities include: Sleeps six with options for double and twin beds plus sofa bed. Fully fitted kitchen including microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer. Dining area. Living area with satellite TV, DVD, Nintendo Wii and wifi. Luxury bathroom. Children's equipment including travel cots, bed guards, toys. Large balcony, overlooking three swimming pools. Air conditioning and gas central heating. Plus: iron, hair-dryer, set of beginner's golf clubs, tennis racquets and maps of the region. Facilities on this popular resort include, 18 hole Jack Nicklaus golf course, driving range, golf shop, tennis courts and bike hire. There is a beauty salon and hairdressers on site. For refreshment you will find cafes, bars, restaurants and an ice cream parlour.

We love Spain and were looking for an easy to reach holiday property, a 15 minute journey from the nearest airport and beach, with great facilities for family holidays.

The property is the perfect holiday home, easy to get to, modern and comfortable (wifi included) and on a resort with great facilities, whether you want to visit with friends and play golf, or just relax with the family.

"I've stayed in Richard & Jenny's apartment on several occasions and can't recommend it highly enough!



First things first; even though La Torre is advertised as a golf resort, don't be fooled into thinking you need to be into golf to stay there. Everyone is welcome, and the resort caters for non-golfers equally as well as those who are fanatical about it.



As for the apartment, its location is prime. Literally two minutes walk away from the on-site supermarket, it's easy to stock up on arrival. The resort centre is right on the doorstep so access to the shops, restaurants and bars is also excellent.



Inside, you will find it spacious, clean, comfortable and very well-appointed. Air-conditioning is a blessing and the wi-fi is a must for most people these days. It can be picked up as far away as the poolside so your social media can be kept updated whilst topping the tan up!



Although you can easily stay within the resort for your full stay, there are many beautiful cities, beaches and other attractions within a short drive. Transfer time from the airport is also great at around 20 minutes.



I've stayed at peak and off-peak times, and found the place to be just the ticket for a cracking value for money break."

Clean, comfortable and in a great location.

We loved La Torre. We ate and drank at all the restaurants and bars open on La Torre as we didn't hire a car and all food was excellent. The spar wasn't overpriced and their freshly baked bread and croissants were lovely. We went with friends who stayed in a different street to us so had the best of 2 properties and pools. We enjoyed the Friday Market and the live music. It is well looked after and I hope the re opening of the hotel will bring more business resulting in more restaurants and facilities being opened.

modern apartment on Golf resort, nice pools.

11 Night last minute break, Good communication by owners as many took too long to reply. Met at apartment by key holder showed us the ropes great service. Was impressed with the apartment but not by the complex, although there were many pools around including the two directly below the balcony, the pictures supplied in the advert are misleading as these are for the main hotel!! which is closed down and in a very sorry state and obviously does'nt looked like it does in the pictures shown (missrepresenting). So Great apartment on a complex that almost feels as it's been mothballed, such a shame. I also own property abroad that as suffered due to these economic hardship times and it's a great shame, but please up date info and pictures as it's not true and fair to others, thanks again Mr H

Stunner!

This is a wonderful property, in a great complex. The apartment itself is suitable for a family, with good sized bedrooms, living area and balcony. The balcony overlooks the pools, which are undoubtedly the highlight - they are massive!

There are also a number of restaurants and bars in the resort complex, not to mention the golf course. There is plenty to do for the whole family here, and I highly recommend it.

Rick and Jenny are also obliging hosts, who assisted with any questions we had and made our stay even more seamless.

La Torre golf resort is on the Costa Calida (warm coast) which stretches over 250km where two different seas meet one coast - The Mar Menor and the Mediterranean.

Within an easy ten minute drive there are paradise beaches, sand dunes and unspoilt bays.

Travel:

The nearest airport is San Javier, Murcia with regular direct flights from many UK airports. Just 15 minutes from San Javier airport. Car hire is not essential as the resort is well equipped, however would be recommended for exploring the surrounding areas.

5 minute walk to onsite golf facilities, restaurants, bars and shops.

15 minute drive from the historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia.

10 minute drive to the nearest beach.
