It is an ideal situation for touring and visiting the lakes, but tucked away in a quiet and peaceful village setting, by a stream with our comical and famous indian runner ducks. You may be in luck to see a lamb being born in the nearby barns (Feb-April) or ducklings hatching, lambing time in the Spring is most exciting, so you may be in luck to see a lamb being born as we do the lambing inside.

Many parents have commented that the best thing about the holiday is the fact that the children can run around freely, which sadly they can not do nowadays generally.
There is also a village green where ball games can be played, football cricket and the rest. Short and long walks all from the door.
Loved the situation, the facilities, the peace and quiet, the well appointed cottages, the friendly welcome and attention by the owner.
