A semi-detached Villa in excellent condition, situated in 'Las Piscinas' urbanization is a perfect choice for holiday stays as well as:

1. Families. Closed, secure gated community allows children to play outside without letting parents being worried about dangers of streets, such as cars or other vehicles.

2. Golfers. Close proximity to all three major Gold fields in the area (5 mins drive). Bring your families and keep peace of mind on the golf field, knowing that your family is safe and busy with shopping and resting in the biggest Commercial Center in the area "La Zenia Boulevard".

3. Couples. The biggest commercial center "La Zenia Boulevard" is the place to start your vacation with. All major brands and divers offer of kitchen of restaurants will not leave you unimpressed. Comminuty pool within 15 meters and 5 mins drive to the beach are yet another pleasure couples will definitely enjoy.

4. Seniors. Why to go to the Dead Sea, spending thousands, when you can enjoy the same, if not better curing properties of a salt lake of Torrevieja (Salinas de Torrevieja)? Salt Lake, located within 10 mins drive from the house is a a place where several natural features come together to create an unusual set of circumstances purported to be effective in healing and recovery from a wide range of illnesses and conditions.

Close by are the beautiful towns of Elche, Orihuela, Alicante and Murcia with their historic buildings and great shopping centers.

Me and my wife have a family of 2 young children and have always dreamed of having some paradise place of our own to spend our vacations. Having visited a lot of coutries, we just fell in love with Costa Blanca of Spain. That made us choose this location as our small paradise, to where we always are more than happy to come back again and again.

Why Nick chose Orihuela Area

Having a young family and caring about our childrens' safety, we have visited more than 50 houses for sale in the area. If one thing was good, then some other factor came out to be unacceptable. At last, we found this house that fited ALL our safety needs, as well as our requirements for proximity to all amenities, quiet and clean community, excellent neighbours and impressively clean maintained house, which is number 1 for my wife.

What makes this villa unique

Staying in this house one can enjoy benefits of all that recreational area can offer - beaches, golf fields, restaurants, bars, salt lake, shopping centers, quiet community, big pool, safety for children playing outside. And which is most important - majority of these amenities are walking distances away! No need to have a car, unless you play golf!

The villa is so comfortably located - sea, shopping center, golf clubs! Wow! Me and my family were really impressed by how convenient it was to just walk around and enjoy all of these amenities. The communal pool is better than private pool - it is within a few steps away, but at the same time no noise of private pool! All in all - wonderfull! We'll definitely come back again!

Notes on accommodation: The house is very suitable for couples and families with young children being inisde of closed secure gated community. The swimming pool area, just steps away. The houses have quiet and efficient airconditioner as well as fans throughout to keep you cool during the summer months. Outside: The villa includes private garage which can fit two sedan cars. Patio has a garden table with 6 chairs. Barbecue stand is yet another good thing fitted in the patio for gourmets. Shower is located on the garage area, which allows to clean yourseld from salt of sea and Salt Lake and directly enjoy barbecuing or playing on the patio, without entering the house. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We included all types of towels (bath/face/hygiene/floor) 10 pcs each. House is normally cleaned, towels washed and linen changed once before the stay of guests, but can be requested for additional fee of 60EUR. (Please bring your own beach towels) Other: Sizeable terraces and front and rear patios with garden furniture, BBQ area and utility rooms. Enjoy the sunshine during the day or just watch the world go by while eating al fresco or drinking a glass of wine.

A Great Place To Stay in Playa Flamenca

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a holiday in the Playa Flamenca/La Zenia area.

The property is well appointed and can comfortably accommodate 6 people. This 'quad' house is situated on the edge of the La Florida urbanization and is less than 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants such as An Sibin, the Odd Couple, The Abbey and a brilliant Indian - Mumbai Blue. A 15 minute walk will get you to Playa Flamenca commercial centre with good restaurant choices of the Papaya Tree, Rustica etc - not to mention the fish and chips from Spud Murphys. Great value Chinese restaurants are in abundance all down the coast.

The Saturday walking street market is 15 mins away with the impressive La Zenia Boulevard a further 5 mins away. A similar timeframe will get you to the beaches at Playa Flamenca and La Zenia.

We hired a care for the whole month of our stay for EUR268 (+ EUR 88 fuel/refueling charge) this opens up Torrevieja, beautiful towns around the Mar Menor, Alicante and the delightful Cartagena.

This property, which also benefits from a great communal pool, is an ideal location for this part of Spain; a quiet residential area with all amenities in striking distance. The rent we paid represented very good value for money and the owner was responsive and very helpful.

We will book again.

Ideal for Summer holidays with children

A nice quiet relaxing holiday during the Winter months, although the weather during February was unseasonally cool. Easy driving distance to all shops, restuarants etc in particular Xenia Shopping Mall (a must for retail therapy) and also the Saturday market (just minutes away). The Villa was well appointed with a bonus of Sky TV (bring your own Skycard)

Recommended for holiday with children (pool metres away) and beach few minutes by car.

Very happy to stay there!

We stayed for one week and we regret we didn't stay longer. This villa is just what we were looking for years. There are a lot of good offers in the market, but this one is special. We fell in love with this villa. All the was very clean and tidy. Its location let us to walk down to most of restaurants and we even used to walk down to the beach.

The urbanization is very quiet and very safe. We definitely recommend this villa to all who wish to spend a lovely vacation in Costa Blanca. The customer service is EXCELLENT!

Nice house, sun only in yard few hours

The house was very nice and there were rooms for all. One bedroom little bit cold, sun only in yard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Frying pan and water kettle should be changed - there were scratched and maybe not good for the health. There were enough food making things. One kettle maybe more. We bought coffee maker. Long walking to beach and shops. But we enjoyed :) Thanks, Nick!

Owner's Response: Dear Tiina Wartti, Thanks for the review. We are a bit surprised about your feedback on kettle and a frying pan, since they are 5 months old. Nevertheless, we changed them to new ones. We bought another kettle just in case a family may need two of them at once. Thanks for the note! Regarding one of bedroom, you have not used the heater in the wardrobe, which is very powerful and very convenient. The sun from late October till the end of March is closer to the horizon and ANY of villas of the area have less sun in their yards in this period, if they have neighboring houses around. In the website of our villa it clearly states that a beach is 2200m and shops are 1500m away from the house. So, it takes 20 and 10 minutes accordingly. If you have a car then it takes 4 and 2 minutes accordingly. At the same time, we are surprised that you gave us 3 stars only, having enjoyed your stay, based on your review and your personal email addressed to us where your express your gratitude. Perfect villa

We stayed here for 2 weeks in august and it was perfect. Outside was very quiet and spacious with only a few steps to a lovely communal pool. The villa was very clean and very comfortable with lots of towels , bed linen etc. would definitely recommend this villa and we will be coming back next year!
