Family Christmas
Fantastic property, spacious warm and clean everything we needed for a family Christmas getaway, Gemma the owner even went to the lengths of providing a Christmas tree and decorations for the children to decorate it with. A brilliant property and good local pub just down the road. The children even had their own little snug/ lounge, spacious well equipped kitchen and great views.

About the host

I live in England with my husband and son. We are beef farmers and live on the farm. We absolutely love where we live in Gloucestershire which is why my husband's family decided to renovate the cottage and make it a holiday home for others to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

The cottage is half a mile from our house and the farm and had been a dream project for a very long time. The area is so beautiful and peaceful and a bit of a hidden gem as it is just outside the busyness of the main Cotswolds but with the enjoyment of the scenery. It is close to the M5 so within 20 minutes you can be on your way to a city but be back to the quiet countryside for the evening.

What makes this property unique

As we are 6 miles from the M5 we are a perfect position to base your holiday from. We have a train station 3 miles in the village which has many major routes travel through. You can be in Birmingham or Cardiff in 40 minutes. The cottage is located right on the doorstep (literally) of the Cotswold way which is perfect for walking and cycling.
