Large house with garden and secure Pool. With several shops nearby it is perfect for a Family Holiday.

Our holiday home in Laurens is perfect for a great family holiday. It has 6 bedrooms sleeping 12 to 16 comfortably, it can also be divided into a separate 3 bedroom accommodation sleeping 6 to 8 in mid and low season. The house is fully-equipped with everything you need. It has a large terrace leading off the kitchen/diner overlooking the garden and secure private pool (9.5m by 4.5m). It is in a quiet location near the centre of the village. The property offers great convenience and extensive facilities. In the village there is a boulangerie, an epicerie (general grocery) and a boucherie within just a 2 min walk from the house. The house is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding region; located to the North of Béziers, just over 30 minutes to the beach and 20 minutes to the hills and gorges of the Haut-Languedoc Natural Park. The sunny Languedoc-Roussillon region has something for everyone, from outdoor activities and relaxing beaches, to delicious food and wine, culture and history.

Isabelle is French which is why we bought a house in France. We live in the South of England and enjoy trips to our house as often as possible.

Why Isabelle Mitchell chose Beziers area

We bought our holiday home in the South of France in 2010 because we love the Languedoc area. We wanted a holiday home with a pool which was also big enough to invite all the family. We visit 3 or 4 times per year and let it during the rest of the season. Sharing our holidays with family and friends makes them all the better.

We love going down there and immediately relax and feel at home as soon as we arrive. There are many places in the area to visit, so much so that we haven’t managed to see them all yet. Still plenty of time though.

All of our guests so far have had a fantastic holiday. We hope that you will too.

What makes this house unique

We love the convenience of having everything you need at hand. We can stay there for days and although there are lots of places to visit, we can stay at the house without needing to go anywhere. The kids are happy playing around the pool all day.

The house is very near the centre of the village, but it's so peaceful you wouldn’t know it. We sit out on the balcony in the warm evenings enjoying our food, a glass of wine and just enjoying being there.

we had a family reunion at this lovely holiday home in the old village of Laurens.

we were very happy with the house and all the facilities provided. There is a spacious balcony, with room for the kids to play and the adults to enjoy cocktails in the evening. I would recommend this property and everything it has to offer for an enjoyable family holiday.

We had a lovely holiday at Stuart and Isabelle’s house in June this year with 2 other families. It was just lovely to be able to relax by the pool. We went for a lovely meal in Bedarieux to “the forge” which has a massive outdoors terrace under some amazing trees. Really nice food! We just wanted to relax, but we still had a few lovely walks in the village. Just perfect! We will definitely be back and tell our friends about it. Many thanks to Stuart and Isabelle for making this so enjoyable.

Notes on accommodation: The house is a large comfortable property with plenty of room for up to 15 people. The main accommodation is on the first floor with stairs leading up from the garden. Because it is on the first floor, you can enjoy the warm climate and eat out on the terrace overlooking the garden and pool. Outside: The private pool is secured within a walled area, there is plenty of room around the pool for sunbathing. The garden is gravelled with room for games, including table tennis and boules or for just sitting and relaxing in the shade of the trees (Which is sometimes very welcome!!) Below the balcony is a second outside eating area, with its own fridge, ideal if you are going to have a BBQ. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer. Iron plus ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen provided. The house is cleaned between guests, you have the option of an additional clean with fresh bed linen for longer stays. Other: There is also a games room/childs play area with own TV, table football plus other games.

Great house for our family holiday!

We had a lovely holiday, thank you! What an event between us, our 3 sons, their wifes and the children! It was great to see all 6 cousins playing together and getting to know each other. The children loved walking to buy croissants and pain au chocolat for breakfast and we all fitted in nicely. It is great to have so many bathrooms, each family had their own which was very convenient, Amyas and Archie loved playing with the train set. It is a lovely little town and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The restaurant near the InterMarche was delightful and we all enjoyed a lovely meal. WE had a really great time and cannot thank you enough.

Rates are for up to 12 people. For 13 to 15 people there is a £50 per person surcharge.

Changeover Day:
The change over day is Saturday, but other days can be arranged in mid and low season by request. It is available from 5.00 PM and we kindly request that you vacate by 10.00AM on your departure day.

For longer lets out of high season please contact us to discuss your requirements, we would be pleased to accommodate you. The house can be divided into a self contained 3 bedroom holiday home with all the facilities available. Contact us for prices and availability.
